I rate Howe, but going from Ancelotti to him would be a massive downgrade for Everton if it's true, guessing Ancelotti back to Madrid?

This is probably gonna be our caxinha

It's a * riddy we have * about so much in getting a manager

I don't hold much hope for the foreseeable and think Desmond has probably papped another 10million on the huns winning next season
Just to keep up the" old firm" interest.

Marsch managed in the states and was assistant at Leipzig before getting the Salzburg gig. Sometimes outside the box works

Hopefully it’s a coaching role Maloney is lined up for.

So Celtic are not worried about Ange's lack of coaching badges and are pressing on with his appointment.

How far we've fallen in such a short space of time is criminal.

Wouldn't mind Maloney as part of the set up tbh, but still need a proper manager in place.

Are you comparing the Red Bull's forward planning to Celtic FC's?

CELTIC have no worries over new top target Ange Postecoglou’s coaching status.

It was claimed the ex-Aussie boss did not posses his UEFA badges.

But Hoops chiefs are pressing on with negotiations with the 55-year-old, and his Japanese club Yokohama F Marinos.

And they hope to announce him as Neil Lennon’s shock permanent successor by the end of this week.

A report raised questions over ex-Australia boss Postecoglou having the necessary Uefa qualifications — especially the Pro-licence — to manage in one of Europe’s top-flight leagues.

The governing body expects managers to possess their A and B coaching licences, while at the very least being able to demonstrate a commitment to gaining their ultimate badge.

But it’s understood Parkhead chiefs are entirely relaxed over the qualification situation of the experienced Greek-born Australian, who has previously bossed the Aussie national side, Melbourne Victory, Brisbane Roar and South Melbourne.

Celtic’s rapid move for him came after the embarrassment of No 1 choice Eddie Howe knocking them back last week

Club insiders have insisted Postecoglou has been on their radar for some time, but he refused to be drawn on Celts’ interest following Sunday’s 2-1 win over Shimizu S-Pulse.

Postecoglou, who led Yokohama to a first J-League title in 15 years, said: “I understand there’s speculation around the future, but I stopped thinking about what-ifs long ago.”
