I haven’t watched the press conference. Did he say McGregor is out for the Betis game?

That leaves us in a tough situation. Can’t see him flinging Karamoko on. Maybe McCarthy or Soro at CM. RW I’ve no idea.

 

Dembele is out longterm injury, maybe Jota on the right or Juranovic further forward with Ralston back.

If we get anything out of this game tomorrow will be a surprise with the players we are missing and the bench tomorrow night will be a real eye opener how weak the squad is and * knows what happens if Ajeti needs to come off as we have no striker options at the moment .

 

I think Ange will potentially push Turnbull further forward and have him or Rogic fill the gaps on the wing

Its reality at the moment with the squad and the injuries we have at the moment and just speaking honestly .

 

Nothing he said is a lie though. I'm generally optimistic but Betis are a really decent side, we're missing big players for a game that would be tough at the best of times. I'll choose to see it as an opportunity for others to really step up but I'm not holding out hope for a win here

 

The bench at the weekend was garbage and it's only going to be worse tomorrow. It's criminal we never signed a few more in the window

 

It really underlines our lack of forward planning. Signing 12 players but still feeling like we have a threadbare squad.

I think there was abit of false hope at the end of the window that we had reasonable squad depth but with our best attacking players so far this season practically all injured it shows that there is a massive drop of in quality when it comes to the back up players. Doesnt help forrest is injured too and the greek * isnt even fit in the middle of September.
It's going to take another 2 windows to sort this imo.

 

He's right tho, it will be a miracle for us to get a point
