I will take everything I have said back if the board do come up trumps however, as history shows, it's highly unlikely

I am relaxed :56:and I am enjoying the moment. I'm just curious as to what if anything is going on and what he's really thinking. Naturally I want him to stay like everyone else. I'm one of those people who pays attention to human behaviour, mannerisms etc and I'm just pointing out that he might want to be more open and expansive but he seems to be holding back. Someone quite rightly pointed out that he might not be a media person which is fair enough. If he stays with us and brings us the success we think that he will he will sound be an old hand at it.

I think he has shown already that he's more than capable. This team is a complete different animal than what they were last year. The board now need to show him respect by going for the targets he has identified. We need to think long term planning here there's 40 million at stake come May.

Ange was actually a media pundit for several years on Australia's government TV channel (ABC) on a weekly sport show called 'Offsiders'. I would say that during his time he was a competent panellist and had moments where he was quite engaging.

    Here's an episode: https://www.abc.net.au/sport/offsiders/offsiders-full-episode/6489900

I think you might be reading too much into this re his body language.

Angeball reminds me a lot of Brendan Rodgers' philosophy. But they're very different psychologically... Ange's man management and hardened fight is just what Celtic need right now

Ange wants to play high tempo 90 minutes a game. If this is to work for the season he needs players in now, * that weeks ago... no chance we can go through the season playing this tempo with this squad.. especially if Christie and Eddy are offski...

With 30 odd million plus at stake here for the winners I really don't know what the board are thinking..

If they don't back him I fear for this squad come new year... At the moment its terrific to watch but we need players in the door..

My first and only post on this forum.

Ever since Ange was appointed I've been following this thread with interest. (Yes I'm Australian.) Hopefully it works out for you fellas.

Just signed up to say Mr Cleansheets is quite possibly the biggest flog on the internet.

    Cheers.

Starting to feel a little less like we bought a watch, and a bit more like we found a master key to the watch shop...

I would definitely say that Ralston's performances are improving under Ange. Another good shift against Hearts. He is definitely part of Ange's plans irrespective if Celtic sign another RB or not.

There are definitely noticeable gaps that need to be filled with additional signings which will become ever more evident the longer the season progresses. 4-5 players definitely bring the squad up another notch.

Very positive signs and progress to date. The match against AZ will be a good test to see how far Celtic have come.

Starfelt did not look composed at all.

The first half yesterday is the best we have been in a long time. That is as much of a one sided game as you will see. The desire to win the ball back high up the park was brilliant to watch and we were cutting them open at will.

My only concern is that unless we can keep that up for a full game, and our fitness will need to improve to allow us to do so, then we need to be killing teams off in that first half. As it stands, our defence isn’t good enough to then keep out the opposition when they get a foothold in the game, as we seen yesterday.

Postecoglou has done extremely well in a short space of time to get us back to where we are just now, and all of this in spite of the board, who are failing both the fans and him. We aren’t a million miles away from where we need to be, and considering the absolute mess Postecoglou inherited, you can only take your hat off to him. The board now need to come up with the cash for him to let him fully turn us around. Even if we brought in two full backs to go straight into the team, and a striker to replace Edouard if he goes, then that would be enough domestically I think. Jullien will be back in contention in the near future, and Christie has found a new lease of life and I can see him staying now.

Postecoglou has given us a reason to be optimistic about this season though, and given how we all felt after last season, at this stage, I’ll take that.

If I recall correctly, didn't we just concede a few clean sheets prior to this game?
