Maybe, but that's hardly exclusive to Australia or other non-footballing nations. I've lived in England for over 10 years and have come to realise that a sizable proportion of football supporters, most of whom have been following it their whole lives, express nonsense football opinions, almost always emotional by nature, and I have no reason to believe that this is any different in Scotland.

Just listen to any live phone-in radio show to get the measure of the average fan's perspective.

 

I've been out of this thread for a few days and... what the actual * happened in here? About 10 pages and I don't think Ange was mentioned more than half a dozen times, and that was mainly @Marie telling folk it was his thread!

Personally I think he has done a remarkable job so far, considering he has been backed... well in a typical celtic board fashion to date. I genuinely now think he could go on to do really well here, but I still have the same old reservations about him not getting the proper backing he was promised and walking sooner rather than later. *, we have just 2 weeks of the transfer window left and he still doesn't have a RB ffs. I wouldn't blame him if he did.

There is an A league thread if that is what you want to debate about or Australian players feel free to start one. Just stop annoying the * out of everyone else.

You are banging on about people sucking Scottish c*ck and bagging the A-League. Can I suggest, then, that you stop writing in a precise Scottish idiom? It seems weird and kinda c*ck-sucky. It's not how you write on Australian forums or in your book.

FWIW, I love the A-league above all leagues. It's underrated more than even the SPL.
