2nd half.....fitness looks an issue again.

 

Ralston's positioning for their second is purely down to Postecoglou's tactics. I'm not convinced by it, especially with the full backs we have.

 

His defensive tactics are * woeful

 

Aye, and in the SPL it'll be targeted every week. We saw a shining example of Taylor's lack of pace tonight, how is he expected to track back if he gets caught out like Ralston did?

At least we finally got a win, fourth time lucky.

 

Yip he needs to * off with this tactic, teams have sussed it every game and roasted the defence at almost every turn.

 

We'll hammer the usual SPFL dross with these tactics no doubt, but he needs a plan B for europe and the huns. A lot of positives going forward but obviously our defence needs major work.

 

I'm not sure we will, teams in scotland will just pack the defence then hit us on the counter when we've got no players back.

 

Scottish side's have always loved that wee ball round the side's to turn us. With us having no fullbacks who can cover, it's an even more glaring weakness..

We are far too open, seem to tire and have spells where we're ragged in every game during at some point in the second half..

Good to get a win. First one and we will improve, dominated for most of the game again and should've scored much more..

The defence is a major concern. Central midfield is and needs McCarthy and another further forward..

Abada and Furuhashi will be class. Forrest getting there..

Get a move on with bodies in and keeping improving..

 

Seriously needs to get a grip defensively. We are weak as * at the back, and don't seem to be improving in any way.

 

It's no gonna be dull..

 

I know we were all half joking about high scoring games where if the opposition scores five then we will score six but, * me, it's going to be hearts in the mouth time practically every game we play

 

We are weak as * at the back.......without the players needed to even attempt to implement this style

Only draw back for me is....adapting tactics for the team you have and against which you play and in which conditions.


Still need at least 6 players just to make up a solid first team.
Still have faith in the guy

 

If this guy doesn't figure our we need to defend well too, managers will set up to sit in and hit us on the break repeatedly and will get results with the set up we currently have and I don't think better fulll backs will stop that

Have to say he seriously needs to get a grip with his system at the back , he cant send the team out to run that system when he hasnt got the personnel to implement what he wants !!
Once he gets the talent in that is good enough to play the way he wants then fair enough but until then * with the * he has and at least try and make us difficult to break down , any average to decent team will take that defence to the cleaners as we stand !!

 

As it stands, Celtic need a catheter.

 

Think all and all, I'm feeling quite excited in what he's going to bring to us..

 

Just back over 2 5 goals every game, be absolutely minted by the end of the season..
