Feeding the media we've been tracking this guy for months only for it to turn out he literally isn't qualified for the job is beyond treating fans with contempt it's simply being totally inept at your job

 

Whichever way this lands, it does not look good on the board.

Failed to get Howe, end with Ange, failed to get Ange, get Keane.

Even if we failed to get Ange and then suddenly used some sense and got guys at Howe and Favre levels, it will, at this point, further * off the fans as that would be 3 months wasted on Howe and as about as many weeks on Ange, when guys like Favre were available all along.

Honestly, the new CEO is dead on arrival and the rest of the board and DD are killing this club.

I'm fairly sure that as long as you have someone on the coaching staff with the relevant badges, and the manager is working towards them, it's ok.

i also believe Kennedy has the relevant badges...

 

Could work permits be an issue for him as well? I know we had trouble getting one for the American boy that we ended up selling.

Just a bit surprising this hasn't been announced, let alone even a solid rumour floating about that it's done. The way the papers went on about him on Saturday made it seem like he was signed and ready to be announced.

If he isn't announced tomorrow I assume the coaching badges/permit issues have caused an issue.

 

Ffs if we’ve * up this one as well we will be lucky to get a manager for the star of the season. Ridiculous lack of professionalism from a big club. This mob need hunted.

 

No decent coach in the right mind is going to go near Celtic with the present board as they put conditions on the manager are unacceptable to good coaches .
For example every coach have their own backroom team and telling a coach we pick your backroom team for you is unacceptable for lots of coaches and also you don't pick your own players we do that as well .
I'm not surprised there isn't a list of managers wanting the job and the board need to get to * far as I'm concerned .
