Headline that doesn't even represent the body of the "article" when you eventually scroll to the part concerning the player.

I thought Welsh did well tail end of the season bringing and playing out from defence. Not sure I'd include him in that list.

If anything, I thought he was more reliable at doing it than Ajer.

Might be the most obvious attempt yet I’ve at ripping off the Tifo Football videos…

Yes 100% , I hate we as fans feel we have to play beautiful attacking football , if it gives you the best chance to win then great , but the latest example of this not being the case is Spain in the euros , deserved to win the tournament but didn't, Italy who actually brought an attacking game to the euros but realised they couldn't out play Spain at that game and dropped back using counter attacking , it made the game fantastic to watch , but showed that the Italians can adapt to get the result, exactly how football should be .

Good video. Not sure I like that narrow 4 at the back though, just seems open to the cross all day. Might work in some leagues, could see it being a disaster in Scotland.

After watching the game tonight I am liking the look of the system but as I said in the match thread by * do we need reinforcements!

I also think he's going to have to do some learning himself when it comes to teams sitting in against us. It's probably something he hasn't faced in his career yet, let's be honest? Certainly not to the degree it will be with a celtic side.

The tempo, pressing, passing etc all looking good, early days and some rust and sloppiness in the players still, but it is night and day to the * Lennon served us.

He desperately needs a better calibre of player on the pitch though, specially in the final third and that backline needs sorting. Nothing we don't know.

Ideally Ajeti continues to improve and we have a direct and dynamic Abadad and Forrest on the wings.
Backline Welsh, Hjelde, Julien and Starfelt may just cut it, but it's risky.
RB and LB need major upgrades, big time.

Time to back the guy Celtic!

I think we need to sign a big powerful striker for when teams sit back like that, they stick 10 men behind the ball and becomes really hard to break down. I think maybe the option of a big striker and another strike partner off him then we can just whip balls in and he can either knock it down or try head a shot. Hopefully Ange figures out himself how to deal with teams parking the bus

Aye we need to sign a pacey, powerful 9 who can occupy the defender's, turn them and link it up..

He must be pulling his hair out at watching Ralston as our main right back and Ajeti unable to get away from his man..

That or a tall centre forward as an aerial threat, if they crowd their box then we just cross it in more and put them under pressure. Even then if he’s not getting the shot away he can knock it down to other forwards and have better hold up play when marked closely. I’m pulling me hair out with ralston and Taylor as full backs never mind Ange

Right big guy, you need to get your erse into McKay's office first thing tomorrow and demand the following:- a new GK, RB, LB and a big strong powerful CF if you want to succeed. You have 60,000 Celtic fans right behind you

We are going to lose another 4 players at least I'd say so we need probably another 7-8 players in... can't see that happening if I'm honest..

We all know what we need for Ange to succeed this season. Will he get it? Doubt it.

Lots of promising youngsters in an about the squad but we need some proper first team players ASAP.

Think we are going to need more wingers. Can't see Mikey, Forrest and Dembele staying fit or injury free for long spells..Two down already

    Torally agree.
Pragmatism is the greatest quality a team can have, yup its nice to be easy on the eye but as you said Italy proved you need a Plan B.

I'm all for the high press, I'm all for playing out for the back, I'm all for going long and clearing the lines when necessary..the best teams will do all of these things and not get found out as we did last year without proper game management. I'd also say it was Rodgers main failing with us and he wasn't pragmatic enough in Europe as was seen by some of the absolute tankings we took.

Its not "Angeball" its Football and its not that complicated...you play the hand you are dealt mitigating the players and stakes you are facing.

"Tonight was another challenge, for sure, but the most important thing is that we want to dominate games and be the team that makes the other team adjust."

From the limited games, at least you can see what he’s trying to do.

The board might have succeeded in reducing my expectations to rock bottom, but as long as Ange tries to embed his style of play, and isn’t a complete * like the previous guy, then I’ll back him.
