It’s a shambles mate. I knew exactly how it was going the minute Howe turned us down. The board’s statement about it being out of theirs and Howe’s control was a pile of nonsense. Kennedy and Strachan being forced on him was clearly a big part in the reason he refused to take the job.

 

I mean there’s definitely incompetence. We’re 9 days from a major qualification match and look at the state of the squad. That’s some solid evidence right there.

As far as his Ange feels about it all, you’re right I’m definitely speculating based on what I expect. From what I hear about the guy he takes no * and has high standards. I can’t imagine he’s happy or impressed with what he’s seen from the board room so far - I don’t think any manager would be.

To be honest, if he’s happy with how it’s going I’m disappointed. He should be having some very opinionated phone calls at this point and asking serious questions why * isn’t moving forward.

No idea, they’ve had success with minimal input and have had money in the bank because of it. Rules of a PLC are you need to do everything to maximise pure profits for shareholders but we aren’t the only PLC club in the world and seem to be the only one who’s run like this.

The one thing he will do is not allow transfer issues or issues with the board to affect the playing group, he'll exude a very calm demeaner with the players and keep them as protected as possible. He may be frustrated but he won't show his frustration until he has to. He is very intelligent in the way he keeps the morale high, even when things aren't going well.

 

Wonder if he'll have a say in the 4 loan players we get on deadline day?

 

Until there's a picture of any new signings standing with a Celtic top on, holding a scarf above their heads and with a "welcome to Celtic" tag on here, then I won't believe it.

 

If he is willing to use young players like moko n wee huknall they have to improve defense by quite a bit to allow them to flourish .

 

Also many of the stories we are reading that are negative are a result of celtic not giving any info out on any possibilities, so stories are being made as a result .

 

It was a bad decision by the club to sell Klimala before a manager had been appointed. He'd have been the best fit for Postecoglou's style.

 

He was rubbish.

 

Fast and more hard working than any other striker. Rubbish- maybe, but from what I can see, he'd fit Postecoglou's style of football.

 

Yeah but he's also terrible on the ball with poor finishing. Likeable guy but it wasn't a mistake to sell him.
