TBF mate I think you are being very naive about the scale and pressure of the Celtic job. There is a different mentality at Celtic where a draw is seen as a disaster. That’s not an indication of the Celtic support being spoiled but more of a sign of Glasgow rivalry where second place is about as good as last place. Former Players have always spoke on the levels you need to reach to play for Celtic and how much expectation is put in your shoulders in every game.

Although from social media observation, the majority of Celtic FC were reacting because they had their minds set on Howe and then an unknown came out of nowhere because of the board's incompetency, there was still that naughty minority who were racist and/or close minded.

There is NO arguing that managers from the Australia are never given a chance in Europe beside the odd Croat or Greek going back to their ancestral countries for no-name teams in the lower leagues (like Ange once did in the Greek 3rd division). There were many comments like "if he's so good, why has he never coached in Europe" before, and there is no doubt that Aussie managers are never given a chance in Europe, which makes Celtic FC revolutionary in this sense. There's been many great managers in Australia who could never land gigs in Europe, but Ange is the best of the best (from Australia), which is why most Aussies are ready to eat a huge slice of humble pie if it doesn't work out at Celtic FC, because if we are gonna put all our chips on the table, it would be for him.

Other comments I saw was "Aussies don't know * about football and can't manage" and similar comments to this effect.

    * off you miserable *, which sick individual would find joy in seeing millions of animals being killed, many people dead, destruction of homes (and invaluable objects like photo albums) and businesses.

    You're twisted.

I do hope we hurry up with the signings,

I'm happy with the young lad from Sheffield, I actually think he'll play an important part this season, but we need a few more first team players in soon.

I can't speak for all Celtic fans & we do have our share of idiots. As said by a poster previous. Everybody seemed happy that Howe was coming in then that change to a guy nobody had heard of so everybody was a bit * off which is understandable. Once we started looking in to Ange & seeing his interviews the fans i know have bought into it but also feel sorry that the board have put him in the position with so little time & so much to do. Some of the Aussie's have also come across as idiots in this thread as well. In their opinion we aren't allowed to challenge anything about Ange without them jumping to the passport *. I have the same worries about Ange that i had with Howe & it's mainly about the defence, that doesn't mean i'm not looking forward to seeing how he will play & apply his system here.

Can't wait till the first competitive game. You've also got to remember managers here do not get time so he will need to hit the ground running & he will know this.

Yeah mate, I agree. The MAJORITY of Aussies commenting on social media have been insufferable and an immense embarassment.

On another Celtic Forum I wrote a post (which was then published as an article despite my horrendous grammar and spelling in it) where I even say that Aussie reactions have been *.

"Having followed Ange’s career for two decades, I thought I’d add a perspective that is different to what you have probably heard since it appears that every Celtic podcast/YouTube channel has plucked overly emotional Aussies to give an outline of Ange."

    https://thecelticstar.com/an-aussie-greek-perspective-on-ange-postecoglou-part-1/

And in another post in this thread I've said mot Aussies have been cringe, overly emotional, an embarrassment etc etc

Celtic Media doing it right, don’t know if it’s Dom’s influence but he knew his predecessor had totally cut bond between the club and the fans. These insights to training etc on a regular basis is what we need to reconnect with them. All good to see and to see them enjoying themselves, trying to force themselves into contention.

Scottish lads are gonna * themselves when they get off their holiday.

Also notice the keepers getting a lot of camera time, this is a great way to get the fans talking hopefully build up their confidence, as all three of them looked demoralised after last season.
