I was excited after Anges presser the other day.. talked a great game but nothing and I mean absolutely * nothing has changed other than a new manager being hung out to dry by our money hungry board..

 

Hopefully I'm wrong but I don't think the board will get the same leeway from the fans that they have had over the last few years. Even when the majority of us knew there was something rotten going on at the club and that we were in major danger of loosing the league there were still supporters backing Lawell, Lennon and, in the latter stages, Kennedy. Our fans are now totally fed up with their usual bullshit and lies and I think they know that this will be the last chance saloon for the lot of them.

 

I'd be confident that business is going on behind the scenes but * sakes...not even a nibble of a decent rumour?

He was also meant to be working before coming in and also while isolating. It's not just been a week. And if he doesn't know we need a right back as an absolute minimum he is clearly not fit for purpose.

What I want to know is who is dealing with the transfer negotiations? It sure as * shouldn't be Lawwell, and McKay has enough on his plate with the take over. It's why we should have appointed a DoF first, before the manager, as it's exactly the type of thing they should be dealing with.

 

I know it's not Dembele's thread but would he work in an Angeball system? I just can't see the boy attacking aggressively enough to win the ball back

Is the transfer window even open yet?

 

Transfer window has been open for weeks now and the support need to give the new manager a bit of time with the situation he's been left with .
Europe is a write off for me and no sign of any new players with twenty days to go and the board know how big the rebuild is and we are in this ridiculous situation .
The board need to back the manager and have a squad ready for the league season but I have my concerns with this board who lack the leadership and ambition .

I feel as if there is this faux positivity around the club just now and I can't buy in to it. I still think the manager will flop I really want to be wrong but I still see a cheap yes man and the fact we still haven't got rid of those who don't want to be here or sign anyone just smacks of same old same old

 

A lot will depend on the system, something not many of us are clued up on fully.

From what I know he likes the 433 so he could work.
Think he's more forward and direct than Forrest, is he able to fully support behind, not sure.
