I think he's going to do well but I think it may take time. I'm hoping he gets the new guys in quick and they don't take too long to settle in.

I really like his enthusiasm and the fact he's the type of manager that commands respect. He even said in his interview that he'll speak with everyone and he'll decide if they are staying.

That's what we need a guy with vision and the ability to tell if people fit into it or not.

Mckay, spoke well, appears happy and positive and think he'll do a better job than Lawell eventually. Good to hear that DoF won't be WGS. Need a modern day thinker for that role.

Ange, spoke very well. Took no * and took the snide questions (Mcglaughin is another in the * category) well. Has a clear vision and its very obvious if you don't buy in to it, your out. I like that. Everyone knows their roles and it's up to them to perform. Hopefully JK and GS are binned and he brings his own guys in as this will only benefit Ange and his vision in the time ahead.

Let's get some signings in and get this show on the road.

I’m with you, but I’m also with Ange and whatever way he wants to do things. I’m sure he’s well aware of the benefits of having respect for a big opponent and he’s weighed it up and decided over time that the respect comes at too much of a cost. I love grinding a 0-0 at the San Siro just as much as the next guy, even if my heart doesn’t thank me for it.

it’s all very Deila-ish - but he’s not Deila. Italy have shown that you can be a very attacking side and still keep clean sheets and win games despite a perceived lack of talent.

 

Aw, I wasn’t slagging Ange’s way. Just thought it was harsh as * on WGS when I’d take his success in Europe and 3 titles in a row just now in a * heartbeat.

 

For me, he will punt Kennedy and Strachan if they don't fit his model and setup.

The issue for me is if he leaves it too late to do so.

There is every chance they both got dragged down to Lennon's level and needs a professional manager to bring the best out of them - just as players can be the same.

I'm just not comfortable that as a club we are playing so many risky moves again. We really need a lot to click in to place and fast.
From Ange getting his stuff across to the players, old players stepping up again, new players fitting right in, coaches stepping it up, McKay taking the CEO job on his own terms, it all needs to go smoothly and quickly to make sure we get a successful season.

I wasn’t happy when I was watching us struggle against a poor Hearts team.
When did I mention any of those games you have quoted.

That’s when he mostly took that approach and when he was talking about it and having the fear of losing and stuff like that.

Wait a poor * Hearts team? Best Hearts team any of us will remember, had Euro championship winners and Champions League winners in it and * man

Give Ange praise by slating an ex-manager who done really well with us, aye that’s a good ‘un.

 

Very positive press conference, knows what he wants and speaks with authority. Thought dom spoke well too.
