Sounds like a plan mate

 

Ange Postecoglou was excited to finally get down to work at Celtic’s Lennoxtown training centre this afternoon (Wednesday) after touching down in Glasgow earlier today.

After weeks of eagerly waiting to meet his staff and players in person, Ange Postecoglou arrived at Lennoxtown where he familiarised himself with the surroundings and key personnel he will be working with.

The Australian coach was announced as the new Celtic manager earlier this month, but the 55-year-old had to go through the quarantine procedures before he could begin working with the players and staff in person.

Ange Postecoglou was eager to finally get started and travelled straight to Lennoxtown this afternoon after landing in Glasgow. He said he was excited to continue his preparations for the season ahead and was pleased with the first impressions.

“It’s great to be here,” he said. “It’s been a tough three weeks to get here but I’m super happy to be here now.

'It’s been a bit of a whirlwind and I knew it wouldn’t sink in that I’m the new Celtic manager until I got here. Now I can get cracking and start working.'

"I got to meet everyone and put everything in place that we need to. It’s been fantastic. I already had some familiarity with it but it’s a great set-up. The people here are fantastic and I’m looking forward to working with everyone. Everyone keeps warning me about the weather but it all looks pretty beautiful at the moment.”


The Hoops boss began working on his plans for the coming season as soon as he was appointed but he said having the chance to now work with the players and staff in person would be crucial for building an important bond.

“I’m not a fan of Zoom even though it’s been our existence for 18 months so I was keen to get up here as soon as possible,” said Ange Postecoglou. “I had to do quarantine and make sure we followed all the protocols but being here now is exactly where I wanted to be.

“Ultimately, people want to get to know me. It’s one thing to have ideas and talk about what you want to do but people need to meet me and understand me as a person as much as a manager. You can’t do that unless you meet people in person and we’ll start that process now.”

 

Sickening seeing these two * still stinking the place out, big Ange has had this pair of frauds forced upon him

Then why they still here? Ange has no previous working relationship with either of them, as I said, forced upon him, board probably tried to do the same with Howe

 

Big Ange looks like he means business

 

Was he held at knife point by Dom McKay to sign a contract that stated he had to have them? I hardly think so.

Same with that fud Lennon.

 

Glad he's finally here. Hard work starts now.

 

Huge job, but good to see him at the helm.

 

hope he gets his own backroom team preferably with some knowledge of british/european football

What I will say is that to me, he already looks like the Celtic manager

Cos he hasn't got any backroom staff of his own to bring

 

I think it's done that Kennedy and Strachan are staying in place now but I think Ange must get two of his own men in too.

He needs people around him that he can trust.

 

If Kennedy and Strachan are staying, I hope Kennedy isnt assistant manager.
