Will he? Oliver Glasner won the uefa cup, got sacked for finishing 7th with Frankfurt and ended up at Crystal Palace.

The spurs gig is a poisoned chalice , big Ange is better off out of it, he won them their first trophy in 17 years, it's on his CV.

    He's a winner, spurs aren't. Was always a mismatch.

Can look at it either way. First guy to win something at Spurs in nearly 2 decades but on the other hand probably their most embarrassing season in league in the same time.

Celtic is built on winning trophies, Tottenham isn't. Totally different scenarios. They only finished 17th because more than half the first team were injured at various points throughout the season and the board weren't getting him the players he wanted in January.

Scrapped a Europa League win or not, he delivered what he said he would. Silverware.

Should've been give the start of next season l, been backed, and seen where they were come christmas.

Previous manages have finished in top 4-8 and won * all and been sacked.

He got them a trophy and qualified for the CL by getting it.

    Karma.

Loved him more than any manager since MON.

Devastated when he left, Felt like the wife had cheated on me.

Really put off him the last couple of months, arrogance was oozing out of him.

My only surprise is that they didn't body him sooner!

Spurs have the highest priced season tickets in the prem and the 3rd highest gate, a bad season is eight and a good season is top 4. He finished 17th, lost 22 league games, they couldn't defend and spent a lot of money. Winning a cup doesn't cover over their worst season in 50 years. He was always going to be sacked, and rightly so.

So say the next manager finishes 7th

    Knocked out of FA Cup

    Knocked out of League Cup

And for arguments sake, gets to CL play off round for the last 16 and lose.

Should that manager be sacked?? Or is that a good season??

He'd need to be more pragmatic in Europe though. Doubt you would get the performances we got against Leipzig Bayern and Atalanta under him. Domestically he was magic though

By better I don't necessarily mean bigger, Spurs are a toxic club and will never be successful with Levy in charge. Not quite as bad as Man Utd but close.

They sacked Pochettino, Mourinho, Conte, Nuno and now Ange - it's an impossible job to retain for a team outside of the top 4 with an egomaniac like Levy in charge.

Ange will do just fine and I wish him all the best.
