Think he genuinely dislikes the culture of the club, from the top brass to the support.

Honestly, now he’s getting players back, the injuries they’ve had all season have been actually ridiculous and that fact has both * the results and kept him a job. But I’m really sure of, I think he’ll end up winning the Europa having guys back for the end of the season. And afterwards will walk.

Think he’s still there only out of sheer stubbornness and wants to show them what he is, almost as a * you.

When they wanted to lose against Arsenal last season, they lost him. And he’ll have the thought in his mind about he’d left for them, and he understandably from everything we knew from him always would keep striving for the highest level, but he left a club in us that was a perfect match for what his attitude is. The connection with the fans and him, is something that was special. Perfect match. And he’s went from that, directly to a club and fanbase that are almost the opposite, delusions of grandeur but celebrate mediocrity. And the longer he’s been there, he’s visibly more frustrated

If they get by frankfurt I reckon they'll have a great chance that's probably their hardest game

Anyone who gets that far in the competition will be a horrible game, sometimes the ones you don’t think of as a big club or good team are worse than the ones that you are aware can be. But Ange has that mentality that he wants to win, and he put his neck out saying 2nd season he usually delivers success start of the year. And his hands have been largely tied with the injuries, that may be down to how he places demands on players, we seen similar here until he got the squad to a place he could manage guys in and out the second season.

But them starting to come back, a can see him making sure he gets that trophy.

The lesson I can always remember about guessing the bardest game from a teams reputation I’ve always remembered from us going to Seville, it wasn’t Liverpool, Celta Vigo or Blackburn who were all clubs with a big reputation at the time, Liverpool more than the others. The hardest game until the final, and the one we thought would be an easier tie than we faced already. Was Boavista.

They were better than anyone else and was the hardest game to get there. And a club that had done nothing before then for us to know the name never mind the current team, and honestly, not heard about them ever after that. They were excellent but and we struggled, monumental effort to win the tie.
And when a team gets to the Semi Final etc. that shouldn’t be a surprise.

Funny enough, think teams got caught out with us with that thinking. We were an old name, that wasn’t what we used to be. And Liverpool and Blackburn in particular that * them

Leipzig had Nkunku and we all said similar stuff before the Huns played them in 2022. He was one of the most in form players in Europe at the time. If not the most.

It's not beyond the realms of possibility at all. Outside of Nico Williams they're not littered with standout quality. Time will tell.

    Anyway hope Ange does it.

Was hoping nobody would point this out when I wrote that, because that’s the only other time recent memory that I’ve said that categorically they’re * :56:

I agree Bilbao are a good side but people are ignoring the fact that the Huns consistently turn up at that level.

Just don't think it's as much of a given as folk are suggesting, no knockout tie is.

In recent months for example Bilbao have drawn with Leganes, Mallorca, needed pens to knock out a 4th tier side in the Copa Del Rey and lost 4-1 to Besiktas in Turkey, a side who on paper appear worse than Fenerbache.

PTSD from that 2022 run maybe for me but I'll wait and see!

Aye funny enough I’ve just said similar on another thread. Somewhere down the line we as fans have stopped being able tk face up to the * they can do well. And there’s been times I think that attitude seeps into the team and management.

I was fine if we were confident that we should punish them before Sunday, infact assume so. We did largely as a support. But my worry I had going into it, was if our confidence in that, was the way the team and management were thinking.
Because my confidence of it, was on the sole caveat of us absolutely bursting are * working to show that what they done to us at Ibrox, isn’t allowed.

We played again like we were surprised they weren’t allowing us to just pump them.

    Aye I agree.

If I'm being honest and I said before the game so not just captain hindsight, I had a bad feeling about it. Sometimes gotta go with your gut.

It's really stemmed from them performing better against better sides who want to play football and from us not performing in the derbies this year, really.

It's became awfully easy for them to nullify us.

In the morning when rumours kicked off no Calmac, and Trusty and Scales out, I said to a good mate who’s one of them, who might be one of the best football knowledge * I’ve met, and is no bullshit about it, who the previous week he was terrified for the game, and I was confident and agreed with his reasoning why, messaged him saying it’s on a knife edge if that’s the case.

He’s had the opinion for years, actually before most of our support clocked on to it, McGregors quality. Has him as by far the highest level of quality as a player in Scotland, even though at times it looks like it could be Kuhn or Jota or Maeda. CCV being the closest, overexplaining his opinion as a spot on * from the other side here but I feel it’s a big part of the buzz and belief they had from the start cos they’d have thought it as a team - when he learned McGregor was out, he went from terrified for the game to saying first ten minutes and how that goes will set the game, and who will come out on top.

    He was right there.

They absolutely forced Calmac into not being able to do anything at Ibrox, but Sunday the gaping void that was no McGregor for us, it was bleak. It reminded me of City without Rodri

Possibly to be fair but we were expecting that more and mot a surprise. Boavista was more who the * are they? Finally get the luck of the draw instead of the strongest teams we’d knocked out already

Anx it was a pure slog

The transfers fees in that market are just off the charts crazy now. So this kid who I also have never heard of is better then Matt O'Riley is what that fee supposedly says and by some distance apparently. Just ridiculous. Or maybe Ange is just taking the * before he gets sacked.

Another big game lost by a single goal. Mental how many of those there have been. He gets a bye for me for the winter months with the ludicrous injury crisis; but the periods before and since that haven't been good enough either. Has he won a single big game this season domestically?

Ange has been found out at Spurs. He is a one dimensional manager, who is totally intransigent to change his system, even when it is falling apart in front of his eyes.

I wouldn't want him back at Parkhead.
