Genuinely gutted for Ange, mate. At his age, I don't think he gets another chance at this level. That's his dream he's had all his life over. How could he lose to Leicester?

 

He chose to go Spurs when they are a basket case. Absolutely no sympathy whatsoever for him

The reason I'm gutted for him is the same reason he had to take that job: to manage at that level was his dream. It's what he's been working towards his whole life.

 

Spurs have been relatively patient with him considering their form.

 

What everyone knew would happen is happening they are a basket case with high expectations based off absolutely nothing and an uninterested owner that said he's not blameless and anytime I've seen them recently they've been rotten

 

Him and his agent were working from March to get that job. (Which also coincided with our form going off a cliff) Wasn't some opportunity that just arose that he couldnt turn down. He would have got other offers from clubs that weren't basket cases but no he threw his skants at Spurs as soon as they got shot of Conte.

 

He'll be lucky to stay after today.

 

That's his agent's job, mate. And I've yet to see any evidence that Ange himself was phoning it in. It was still too good an opportunity to turn down even if it was his agent that chased it up.
