There’s plenty of quality in that team. * poor in comparison to who?

No way should they be 15th in that league.

They are poorly coached. All the same traits we saw in Europe when he was here, on a larger scale.

The injures are so overstated as well.

Every team in the world has injuries, difference he has the luxury of bringing in players he paid £25million+ for as replacements.

He’s openly come out and said he doesn’t believe in practicing set pieces. Mental at that level.

Being deliberately obtuse and contrarian with every journalist asking normal every day questions probably doesn’t help with the fact he’s roundly mocked either.

I'd say * poor compared to most teams in the League.

Imagine us playing two 18 year olds every week with a 21 year old keeper.

I think the injuries are major as well.

Today they essentially have 1 sub Richarlison.

Imagine us having a youth team bench with only Idah on it.

The equivalent of their injuries for us would be like if this was our squad for the young boys game...

    Bain
    Johnston Nawrocki Scales Frame
    Engels
    Turley McCowan
    Kuhn Idah Maeda

With a bench like Clarke, Murray, Ralston, Dede, Montgomery, Forrest, Dawson, Cummings

We'd be in a dire situation. The front 3 decent but the whole keeper, defence and midfield is full of guys who wouldn't be playing and young inexperienced players.

But I also think the injuries are down to his training. We always had players picking up loads of injuries when he was manager too.

The particular 11 starting against Everton today is a shambles, Spence maybe was a rated youngster in the game but has failed to live to anything, Bergvell and Gray seem like really good talents but both 18 still and hardly a surprise if they go in and out of games. Chances are as well that players like those two struggle for regular game time at any top 8 club barring injuries.

Their GK today is 21 making his second appearance and again would otherwise struggle for game time if not for Forster and Vicario both out.

Doesn't excuse their results leading to today but that line up feels like a relative comparison to the state our squad was in when Ange first arrived and some of the dross he had to play.

But again, Spurs recruitment has been so poor and that is always going to put at his door even if history shows Levy is the real issue, it will cost Ange his job there but I don't think it damages his reputation. Spurs are like Man Utd, just churn out managers and are a basket case.

Ange will be sacked in the morning. Everton beating you 3-0 is as bad as it gets atm.

He's been massively unlucky with injuries (albeit, I don't think all of them are completely unrelated to his training/style of play). But that said, going 3-0 down to Everton is inexcusable. They don't score goals.

His record there since around December 2023 is abysmal. He had an unbelievable start in his first 10-15 games. But since then I would guess, having not seen the numbers, they have been roughly mid-table. It's properly *.

I'd say the opposite actually, I felt we had barely any injuries under Ange.

We did at the start when Taylor, Kyogo, Jota, Giamoumakis were all out most of his first half of the season which left us looking really weak since the squad was already down in numbers.

But after Maeda, O'Riley and Hatate signed in January and Taylor and Giakoumakis returned and then Jota and Kyogo returned about February/March.

After that there was very few injuries.

Even Hatate and CCV who have become injury prone recently were never injured under Ange, neither was Abada who ended up out for months under Rodgers.

His 2nd season CCV, Starfelt, Juranovic/Johnston, Taylor, O'Riley, Hatate, Jota, Kyogo, Giakoumakis/Oh etc almost nobody was ever injured, McGregor missed like 6 games when O'Riley played there. Mooy even who joined unfit and out of shape never got injured.

    In Anges 2nd season

    Hart
    Juranovic/Johnston CCV Taylor
    McGregor
    O'Riley Mooy Hatate
    Abada, Jota Kyogo Oh/Giakoumakis Maeda

All made 42+ appearances out of 52 games, 13 guys, Starfelt played in 37. Numerous players like even Giakoumakis/Oh, Turnbull never missed a single match with an injury.

Bournemouth had 11 players out yesterday, won 4-1 away to Newcastle and are 6th in the league.

Every team in the world has injuries.

The excuses being made for him are mental in my opinion.

Aye but the recurring injuries of both CBs are his and his team's fault.. brought both back too early and both went off injured in their comeback game.

Jota was out quite alot with muscle injuries during that second season. Kyogo kept missing some random games with his shoulder during that season. McGregor was out for.about 2/3 months but was saved due winter WC break. Hatate picked up a hamstring injury and was out for about 2 months and wasn't the same player when he came back. CCV had been playing with a knee injury that season that he delayed getting an op on. I forgot he got a muscle injury too before that. Missed CL games due to it. AJ injured his ankle and needed an op. Starfelt got a hamstring injury that summer missed the start of the season and ended up injuring his knee which practically ruled him out of the CL. Abada picked up a bad muscle injury too and missed a good bit of the season. Am I missing anyone else ?

He's had no backline and been playing teenagers with no PL experience for months , if he hadn't had injury problems he would be safe as houses , probably given next season and another window to see if he can bring success. He was good for them when they had their players fit.

Completely agree with the media stuff. He's actually just straight out rude in interviews .

With the way the EPL and football is in general I'm surprised he's still there now. Think he must be on the brink, regardless of injuries

He must be away after today. His tactics are truly baffling. Cannot keep playing like that out from the back time after time. He is far too stubborn

He worked literal miracles here though ,on the pitch and in the market , almost perfect two seasons from an absolute wreck of a side. His legacy has and is still bearing fruit to this day. Always be grateful for his contribution as the money he earned us through winning the leagues and getting UCL money as well as the transfer fees has left them for dead, at a time when the could have achieved parity with us.
