I understand the Spurs fans' complaints much more than last season (when they were just being whiny and entitled). There have been too many of these results now. What worries me most is how similar it seems to Man Utd under Ten Haag earlier this season in that his players put in the effort against the big teams but are lazy against the bread-and-butter teams.

Not sure how he turns this around; but if anyone can, he can.

Apart from Liverpool, the entire league is congested. They are on the same points as the richest club in the world, 3 points off Europe and 6 off the Champions League.

Their issue, as fans, is they have no self awareness. They are serial losers and that isn’t easy to shake off.

He isn't getting his own players levy buys the players and ange coaches them.

He is financially secure for life but let's not forget celtic offered him a 3 or 4 year deal on a very significant wage and he knocked it back, worked his ticket for months.

So whilst I thank him and fondly remember him then you reap what you sew

I love Ange; but realisticallly with the way that league is this season, they should be challenging for second and getting at least 4th. On current form, they're heading for mid-table. He will know this is not * enough.

They should absolutely not be (realistically) challenging for 2nd, they are nowhere near Liverpool, City and Arsenal not withstanding the form Chelsea are in after getting their * together having spent hundreds and hundreds of millions.

They should be aiming for a Champions League spot and the next 4 games will determine whether or not they’re capable of doing so. Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if they pick up points against Chelsea, United and Liverpool. It completely depends on which version of Spurs turns up.

Don't have any ill wishes or spite towards him for how he left. Even if he was working his ticket he was quite entitled to do so. He'd totally rebuild the club and had the good grace to put it all on the back burner until the season was over before he departed.

But this never ever looked like the right fit. Postecoglou, even though he had instant success here, generally would need some time to rebuild a squad and have them playing at their peak. Spurs fans, meanwhile, have a massive sense of entitlement based on absolutely * all other than they're based in London. Patience was never going to be on the menu.

I thought he did well last season - a 5th placed finish and European football granted 2 early cup exits. But nobody can say this is going in the right direction. They look destined to finish about 7th or 8th, or even worse if these kind of results keep popping up as frequently as they have. I'm even doubting whether he'll make Ibrox with that game against Chelsea on Sunday coming up. A lot of Spurs fans marking that as his last chance (last chance to do what I've no idea).

Even if he does go on another good run, it's just a stay of execution for me. He won't be there in the long-term because I don't think he'll ever manage to take that club where he wants to take them. I don't think they have the right environment/boardroom structure for it.

Hope he manages to get them going in the short-term and gets some decent results between now and the summer - maybe even win a cup if he can. But honestly he's as well resigning at that point, especially if he can get a small upturn in the second half of the season. Would be a big statement from him to walk out when he's doing well.

But sadly I doubt that'll happen. I think they'll pull the trigger on him at some point in the new year.

I don't think they should be challenging Liverpool. We agree there. But he should be challenging for second with Man City's crisis and Arsenal's mediocre form. The only reason they are not challenging for second is some really poor recent results against Brighton, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth and a totally unacceptable loss against Ipswich. They are better than that. He's been there over a year now. This is his team now and he has a problem to solve.

I can just visualize him arriving in Glasgow next week with Spurs at the hotel, then calling a taxi to take him straight to Celtic Park unannounced, walks through reception, the tunnel, then takes a seat staring all around him at everything he had, remembering much happier times, a team that gave everything for him, a team that played his style, a support that adored him, then a little tear rolling down his cheek

Man City’s ‘crisis’ is a month long bit of form against a back drop of injuries to key players.

Arsenals ‘mediocre’ form is only in the context of Liverpool starting like a steam train.

Spurs are seasons away from being realistically capable of believing they should be spoke about in the company of these types of teams. With much, much, more investment in the playing squad.

His interview after the game last night wasn’t really an Ange type interview. It was almost like he knows the writing is on the wall. Thought he seemed very fed up to be honest. He is just continuing on from where many Spurs managers have left off. They all got sacked, and Ange will be no different. Results like last night away at Bournemouth can happen. Losing at home to Ipswich however was a real shocker. The game away at Brighton they lost earlier in the season was awful as well. 2 up at half time and cruising. Then half way through the second half they were getting beat. He has got a naivety about him that will never change, that’s his biggest downfall.

I wanted Ange to do well there as well but if we're being honest, apart from his first few months there his his time at spurs has been a huge disappointment.

He's spent more than anyone except Chelsea since he came in, the problem is he's spent it on complete *. Really strange given his magic touch with transfers up here.

It's no embarrassment failing at spurs, realistically it was never going to end any other way. Pocchetino, Mourinho, Conte have all been fired after leading them to cup finals and getting them into the top 4.

Ange won't be spurs manager by the end of the season. It's unlikely he'll still be there by Christmas. He needs to be thinking about his next club now, because Levy will already be interviewing for their next manager.

Had some good spells and their fans seemed to be buying in to him at times last season but it was never going to last there, you see the revolving door of top end managers they've had fail and it was inevitable, he's gave it a decent crack but his time must be up soon. Spurs fans will be in for a shock, there probably isn't another top manager just waiting for the job, Ange definitely wasn't close to top of the list of guys they approached. It's become a real poison chalice.

Ange himself will probably be better off, be disappointed things haven't gone better obviously, but I don't think he'll have any trouble getting a decent level job somewhere else, so many clubs down south and in good level leagues across europe have teams that just accept their level and managers going through the motions, with fanbases who would respond well to a manager with a clear identity of how he wants to play and kicking players up the * to work for the team.

Maddison, VandeVen, Porro, Kulesevski, Vicario. He’s brought in some excellent players.

There’s been a few flops but when talking about his entire time as a whole it’s impossible not to factor in he was made to sell one of the best strikers in the world and spurs greatest ever player days before the season kicked off. He was hamstrung from the off.

Also, like I said, this season is absolutely not a write off for him or them. It would be like Spurs to beat Chelsea then drop points at Southampton in the next game. That appears to be Spurs perpetual problem, an engrained loser psyche.

I'd be surprised if that's also true in terms of net spend, though. Overall spend is a good measure of the extent to which it's his team; but net spend is a much fairer measure of performance.

Tottenham are a non-entity diddy club who think they're massive because of Sky money. They don't deserve big Ange. * them!!! ...Hopefully, he gets a chance to skelp the huns one last time.

Mourinho, Conte and Ange have all pointed out the issues that are steeped in that club, they aren’t winners, and it’s from bottom to top and in the stands. We know Ange’s winning mentality, Conte and Mourinho’s speaks for itself.

    They’re the Hibs of England.

I feel for him. All things considered I think he's done really well, but that's a * shitshow of a club. Hope he gets out and moves on to somewhere that fits him.
