It’s unquestionably the best league in the world at the moment.

They always had a claim for it but the argument for it would chop and change, Messi and Ronaldo La Liga years it was ahh maybe best players are in La Liga but the competition isn’t all through the league, and that was because they didn’t have the same quality in the league. Then with City and Liverpool recent years being powerhouses, with City inevitably winning, it was look at the players and the quality of the top two.

This is the first season that the best players (obviously not all the best players, Bellingham, Mbappe and funny enough Kane not being there) but they have competition and high quality. It’s been fun to watch that league this season to be fair, Spurs and Villa have added a lot to that with what they’ve done as well. And the biggest spending squads in Man Utd and Chelsea being firmly mid table, but also entertaining. Even Luton has brought a * of a lot to the league this year.

His teams defensively is car crash football.

The fans won't put up with it too long, especially when days like this come up.

His squad isn't good enough. I think Spurs fans have to be patient, another year and I'll think he'll have them top 4.

I'd be interested to see how he does in Europe with a decent squad.

I think people forget that Arsenal are one of the best 7 or 8 teams in Europe. Ange still might get 5th and at worst he'll get 6th, I think. This is why I think it's mental how quick some folk are to dismiss Rodgers getting 5th twice with a club like Leicester (not to mention getting second with Liverpool). When you see how hard 5th is for a manager as good as Ange to achieve with a much bigger club in Spurs, you realise it was an extraordinary achievement.

I'd argue the Spurs are missing that Ange Striker to really piece it together.

He's improved their league position on last season whilst losing Harry Kane.

Give him a striker that has the movement scaled up of the likes of Kyogo and and Spurs will look like a different beast

Starting to unravel for him a bit. He will need to start next season very well or he will be for the chop.

No really, he’s got the maximum out what he has notwithstanding the injuries they’ve faced.

He needs seriously backed financially in the summer and then you’ll see what he’s capable of.

He won’t get seriously backed I don’t think. He was massively hampered with injuries earlier in the season, but they have been close to, if not at full strength for some time now, and have thrown in some horrific performances. He has credit in the bank due to the start he had, but he is now being asked questions. He will need a good start next season, or he will come under massive scrutiny, and the trigger gets pulled quickly down there.

Where should Spurs be in the context of the other sides down there and losing their best ever player before the season starts?

They are fighting for 4th, that’s their rightful position in the league. The one and only thing that will bridge the gap now is quality signings.

I think he's been bang on this season tbh.

Look at Chelsea and the literal billions spent. Man United as well.

His fast start has bit him on the * now as things seem to pitter out but for me if he can secure UCL football they cannot grumble one bit. Best spurs can hope for currently is 4th--6th position.
