That Spurs team is too weak. They are throwing away cheap goals every week, but if you don't have the players to play the system then you need to change the system...!

I think we are seeing the issues with the squad. They got injuries and suspensions and struggled to come back from it.

We said the same at the beginning of his tenure here.

... Then he turned us into a machine.

If Spurs want Ange to be a success, they need to financially back him. I know they've spent a bit but they've also sold a bit. You need to spend a ridiculous amount to challenge in England.

That will always be Ange's main problem, he will play the system no matter. Teams will know who to target.

The fact that they sold one of the best strikers in the world who in the past 9 seasons scored over 30 5 times and 24 o
or more the other 4 seasons and replaced him with nobody was instantly a problem. They need to throw money at a striker. I'm sure some Saudi club will overpay for Richarlison to help soften the blow.

He has the worst injuries in the entire league to key players in key positions - and he needed strengthening before that even occurred.

The luck he’s had over the last month is ridiculous.

In all seriousness he's worked a miracle already having them where they are almost into 2024.

That squad needs about 6 transfer windows still. I'm sure he will get the time.

Genuinely don't see him being sacked. He's shown enough with a full squad to suggest that backing him substantially will be well worth it.

Ange is having a thoroughly average time at spurs, which is not what their supporters want. Especially when they look at the way Emery has Villa flying at the minute.

I think Ange will have been given a target of top 4 this season with top 6 being acceptable. If he drops outside that the pressure will really crank up which could happen this weekend.

Fair enough he has a bit of an injury crisis going on but surely everyone could have predicted that considering half the teams hamstrings exploding seems to be part and parcel of Angeball.

Big game coming up v Newcastle. From a purely Celtic perspective I hope he trounces Eddie Howe.

See he admitted to having zero hope of achieving anything in the UCL with us. Pretty sure rodgers was caned earlier in the season when he said something similar....

Angeball is truly amazing to watch, but the squad clearly can't handle the tempo for a full season. I don't think he will last till the end of the season. Not because he is a bad manager. He is a great one. But for the fact that EPL clubs are morons.

Didn't he win several manager of the months awards at the start of the season?

I think considering how weak the squad is behind the first xi and not playing with a proper striker, he's done a decent job.

If they back him, he'll do well there.

Emery is a very good manager. He's also got the stronger squad at the minute, especially when looking at the injury lists.

They have been really unlucky with injuries, no doubt about it. I still think he will be lucky to see the season out however. To take the lead in your last 5 games and only pick up one point is shocking.

I think it goes back to the game agains Chelsea as well. That decision to still try and win the game with 9 men was ridiculous and showed a very naive side to him. Had they sat with everyone behind the ball, I actually think they would have got a point that night because Chelsea are woeful. That would have been massive for the dressing room and it would have kept the momentum going that they had at the time. They have completely buckled since that night.

Given the injuries. The signs are there that he can get Spurs firing and be a dangerous prospect in the EPL.

How many games is that now on the bounce where they are scoring early, again, with a much weaker squad so ultimately the result gets turned over.

Give him January and get VDV and Maddison back and tbh I think he'll be laughing for the latter part of season.

He's going to win them a trophy next season without a doubt.

Bareing in mind for the last few season all sorts have been over egging the situation about "where would spurs be without Kanes goals shtick " they now have no Kane and a raft of injuries and for the most part the signs are still progressive and promising.

It is all about getting Jan right and getting key players fit and back from injury and they should be seeing a strong finish.

He’s done an incredible job to turn them round the way he has, however some of the issues we seen while he was here are being magnified down there.

Fair enough, there’s very little he can do with all the injuries he has however that’s probably where you need to adapt slightly and while they somehow managed to go away to city, play them at their own game and take a point they’ve also thrown away a lot of points recently by being so naive.

They’re also incredibly wasteful in front of goal, probably my main gripe about his Celtic team and while we got away with it domestically as we seen when we stepped up a level to Europe we got ruthlessly punished, as his Tottenham team are being now.

They’d be absolutely mental to get rid as he’s genuinely a top manager and with a couple more transfer windows and not being hit by a freakish amount of injuries within such a short time frame he’d have them right up the top end of that league and back in Europe.

He's spurs side are crying out a ST in the ilk of a guy that has the movement of Kyogo.

And given their finances, they should have no problem finding a higher level version of Kyogo.

Vdv and maddison back from injury and then s ST in that ilk with maybe a couple other signings for other positions to help strengthen depth. They will be safe with Ange

He's in a similar position as he was with us at this point of his first season, though we were still grinding out the results, squad looking thin and needs to bring in 3-4 of his own players in the coming window to fit the system and keep up the intensity for the second half of the season.

It’s incredible to watch his style. Actually look forward to it. But with his squad it’s not gonna workout well I don’t think. It’s fine up here if the players are blowing by 60 and we are 3-0 up v Hibs or someone but different level down there.

We said the same thing at the start with us, when a very similar speedbump happened due to the squad strength.

It’ll work down there as well, he just needs backed more to get there. He got backed massively at us to get there.

We were the big fish up here though down there he is playing against teams of a similar level if not better than his current squad. I kinda see it similar to when he took us in to Europe it was nice to watch and earned praise but the reality was we never won a game. If he isn't majorly backed down there I don't see him lasting but I think they will back him.
