FA Cup is majorly respected down there. * Listening to Linekers new podcast with Shearer and Richards - he had it above a European Trophy he’d won in the Cup Winners Cup. They adore it down there, it’s got a “magic” about it they buy into. League Cups viewed as a nuisance

 

Season 1 is for doubles, Season 2 is for the trebles.

Seriously though, this Cup that sounds like it was named after a type of moose, is the least important competition for him. His squad lacks depth- even half his starting eleven needs improving. An injury to one or both Bissouma and Maddison or one of their CB's and its down hill fast from there.

I can see him taking the FA Cup more seriously though.

 

He’ll have been told his targets for this season to stay in the job, his line up and changes, and change of formation makes it obvious that is not one. Think he’s took an opportunity to show that he can’t trust a lot of squad options and wants some quality in with the Kane money.

FA Cup definitely will, the English put a lot on that competition, more than most countries do the cup competition.

Remember when Ferguson took it as unimportant due to the Intertoto Cup I think it was? * lost their mind. And that was Alex * Ferguson.

End of April and he said you are way off to them.

I don't think we'd entertain selling him at this stage no matter the offer, but honestly the way Rodgers plays looks like we'll be sending a lot more crosses into the box and a bigger physical striker might actually get more joy than Kyogo, think Oh is really going to push on this season.
