Don’t ever want to hear another manager quote Tommy Burns unless he is actually loyal.

Thanks for the trophies and team but you just sold yourself down the river to a soulless club, league and fanbase.

What a way to let the fans and players ‘enjoy’ a treble while you knew you were away weeks ago.

I need to learn that managers will say anything to get the fans onside.

I feel so gutted about the way all this has gone.

Raging with myself for falling for the bullshit again.

    F#ck off Ange.

It's funny that, after all these years, Deila will still be our most liked ex-manager :56:

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has agreed to become Tottenham's new manager.

The 57-year-old Australian has just finished his second season in charge of Celtic, having led them to the Scottish title both campaigns and the domestic treble this term.

Spurs have been looking for a new manager since Antonio Conte's exit in March, with Cristian Stellini and then Ryan Mason taking interim charge.

    More to follow.

A team like Spurs? Sorry mate but I must have missed all these trophies they've been winning. Wanting to test himself in England I get, it's currently the biggest and best league in the world but save me the hyperbole over Tottenham. If we played in the same league as Real Madrid and Ange was offered that job he would still want to go there. If we were playing alongside Tottenham in the Premier league then he would have stayed here.

So gutted to see him go. He has been an absolute revelation for us.

Everything about his tenure has been unreal - the style of play, the trophies, the connection between him/the team and supporters, the new signings.

Disappointed we won’t get to see more of it but I think the last few years more than ever have taught us football is a business for players and managers. Rodgers, KT and now Ange.

The only constant in football/at Celtic is the supporters.

Right it's fecking happened. Feeling gutted and totally pished off as this must have been agreed days or even weeks before. I don't think I'll ever let myself be fooled by any future manager again - no matter how much he says he loves the club or pumps his chest.

Aye, it's hard for us to fathom that * like him can never be as dedicated and in love with Celtic as much as we are, we seem to fall for the silver-tongued * each time though... :31:

Well at least he didn't * off on his holidays for 2 weeks to "decide his future" then tell us he was leaving. Gives us more time to sort out a replacement at least. And hopefully DD and Nicholson use that time wisely to get the best man for the job and not just "who do we know already we can bring back?".

Ah ye will, that's the beauty of football. That's why come September on here people will be waxing lyrical on how Rodgers is so much better tactically than Ange

Hard not to be a bit bitter here, as he played us like fools, we all knew what was going on and he was too much of a coward to say it, shows the character of the man imo, a complete bottle merchant and *.

2 year deal then away to Man City

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has agreed to become Tottenham's new manager on a two-year contract.

The Australian, 57, has just finished his second season at Celtic, leading them to the Scottish title both years and the domestic treble this term.

Spurs have been looking for a new manager since Antonio Conte's exit in March, with Cristian Stellini and then Ryan Mason taking interim charge.

The final elements of the deal are being finalised before an announcement.

Athens-born Postecoglou's only experience in Europe before joining Celtic in 2021 had been a spell in charge of Greek lower league side Panachaiki in 2008.

He has won the Australian title with South Melbourne and Brisbane Roar, Japan's top flight with Yokohama F Marinos and also led the Australian national team to victory at the 2015 Asian Cup.

Postecoglou takes over a Tottenham side who finished eighth in the Premier League and face a first season without European football since 2009-10.
