One thing I would add is we need to accept the reality that players and managers move now more than ever. Like you, it's not that I want out manager poached every two years, but I think we should embrace it and try and take advantage of it rather than act surprised and be unprepared.

I actually have some (hopefully not misplaced) confidence that Nicholson has not been caught out here and has a plan for this eventuality.

By the way, see on the wages thing, which I think is your real issue here, you need to get over that buddy. All I indirectly said is we shouldn't be believing a made-up rumour like that and ever since you've absolutely wet the bed. Get a grip.

I didn't say he initiated them. I said his agent has been manoeuvring to get his name in the door and in the hat. That's what agents do, the fact THS sporting director is a friend of Ange is also being massively overlooked here.

He came to us because it was a way in to the EPL, that's all we have ever been. Fair enough and fair play but he hasn't been transparent about it.

 

I knew as soon as I watched his pre match interview on bbc. The players have been around him all week, if I can pick up how shifty he was being sitting on my couch watching him through the tv, you honestly think the players didn't? They're no daft.

I believe the board knew weeks ago he was off, they might have had a part in what he did and didn't say to the media.
