I expected him to not do press conferences if he were busy negotiating with Tottenham. I'm convinced he is staying put.

 

On paper, it's a magnificent appointment. However, given the history and the bad blood between some fans and him, it would be silly to bring him in when it could cause a massive negative atmosphere between fans and manager/board.

 

I will be * if he goes. Especially after quoting Tommy Burns on the final day. It will all seem a bit shameless.

 

He could just say we can have discussions after the Cup final. We also don't know what calls Ange has at home. As Spurs have had people turn them down I don't think they have much of a choice but to wait.

No, he's not changed. He's like every single other manager out there and wants to test himself against the best. Not one person on here will have a bad word to say about him if he does go after leading us to an historic treble. I'll be * heartbroken, genuinely devastated. After what he's done with us and for us? He goes with my best wishes and he's given me some incredible memories.

Again, let's not try and change reality to defend the man. He's a man of integrity, class and dignity and there is no problem with him wanting to test himself against the very best. Blaming people for pushing him out the door, I take it you're referring to Celtic fans here, instead of the nature of all managers and the game itself, is just silly.

He's a special man with special ability. He's like all other managers though when it comes to proving themselves.

Think he’s off to be honest.

 

If he does go we'll probably still be looking at that point so that might work.

So the fact he hasn't just left the building in the week of a cup final has you convinced he isn't leaving? It's a pretty simple situation . Finish the season then fly down to London next week to speak to Spurs.

 

It improved when we got Ange. Was a shambles prior to that. We've probably had players lined up for months for this window so * knows what happens now
