football is not the number one sport here.

they saw he started at Celtic in 2021, and counted 2021 is 1 season, 2022 is 2 seasons, 2023 is 3 seasons.

I hope he helps increase our profile in the CL but seriously his style of footie would get us into the latter stages of the EL which I think is where we can cause the most damage in europe. We would have given both of the EL finalists this year a * nose.

I’m guessing Aussie Rules Football is #1? Used to watch the odd game on Sky Sports here, quite a good watch tbh.

I watched Aussie rules a bit when I was over there and went to a few games in Melbourne and Perth, actually got into it. Went to a Carlton v Essendon game at the MCG which was quality. I think Aussie rules and the NRL are the main sports there.

depends where you are in the country. half the country Aussie Rules (AFL) is #1, the other half NRL (Rugby League) is #1.

Aussie Rules was a lot better when I started watching it in the 80s. even when I played a bit in the 90s. These days I would be banned for life for some of the stuff that was just "play on" back then. The local games are better than the AFL professional games. If i find myself at a loose end on a satday arvo, then having a few cans at the ground of my town's team is a good way to spend the day. the problem is that not even the whole country here understands the game. we keep trying to make an international rivalry with Ireland and play an insane half Aussie Rules/ half GAA game. Not sure if this monstrosity ever makes it to Sky Sports, but if it does.....its a must watch.

This guy will make history with Celtic in Europe before his time is up with us.

    Anything is possible mate.

Sevco have reached TWO Europa finals with Sir Walter of Cardigan and his "play for penalties", and that absolute muppet Giofanny Von Brokewhore.
One was a managerial dinosaur with a squad of thugs, the other was a halfwit with a squad of pish.

It's all about the draw, and the condition of the teams you draw.

Look at Bodo, * giant killers, with 1 great player and a manager who knew how to use what he had.

It's not a case of never say never, with Ange, it's a case of how long will it take. *Wink

I hope so. I think his kids are playing in football teams here now aswell so sounds like the family are settled. He might have had plans for a few years to sell the house anyway but hoping there is more to it... :78:

Toorak is where Melbourne's 1%ers live. Can't see him ever coming back TBH. He'll retire on Greek island somewhere, maybe visit Viduka on his Croatian island.

He needs to change something for the final two games.

We should be more than OK for the cup final, but stranger things have happened. St Mirren could have legit won 4-2 today if they took their chances.

For those who are in love.....
Losing last week you can sort of understand considering we won the league and made so many changes. The way we lost was a disgrace though and completely unacceptable..

To then change it up and get a showing like that? * disgusting..

Got played off the park and shat it all day, on and off the ball, at both ends..

That is nowhere near fine today and we've stuttered a bit. We were dismal at Tynecastle before they went down to 10. * against Motherwell and dropped points..

For Ange to say we gave up last week and accepted our fate, then turn in that off the back of it today at home, against no offence but * St Mirren. Nah..

Get the kids in if it's gonna be like that or try a different setup. Why no go with something like this today

    Hart

    Iwata
    Starfelt
    Kobayashi

    Abada
    McGregor
    Summers
    Hatate
    Bernabei

    Oh
    Kyogo

Give some of the boys from last week that bit more support, Bernabei more freedom to play higher. Kobayashi in a 3 with more solidity. Iwata who has played as right of a back 3. Oh up with Kyogo with more space and Summers in for some freshness in the middle..

Just a pointless lineup and ge couldn't even be bothered to get Summers on or ring the changes when it was clear as day it wasn't working by half time..

Just watched it a minute ago, looks fuming at times in that interview.
