He's as sharp as a tack, just has that natural ability to be funny on the spot, always has been.

Aye, I think when you see the way Gordon talks about Ange it's insane admiration.

Can't be overlooked what Ange has done for his boys career, he said as much tonight.

But anytime we've seen the two conversing its been fascinating

And I'd say likewise, the viaplay after game interview WGS talked tactics with Angebis the first I've seen him respond about his own insights in the game tactically with anyone.

Ange just as sharp, probably one reason why they get on

Ange walked on and said it's great to be here with 2 legends and Gavin's dad :giggle1:

You can tell he is right at home here. Seeing him there tonight and they way he talks about the club’s ethos and his going hand in hand gives me hope that he is here for the long term.

Took a lot of hope from WGS's comments last month about how he believes Ange wants last 16 before he'd consider leaving us. Mite just be his opinion but given there's clearly a friendship there Strachan probably has as good an insight as anyone

Honestly mate, I get that, but we got him halfway through a season. A sufficient opportunity for him, then he'll go.

However that opportunity for him, as it stands right now, I feel would need to be a massive one.

One of the things he has that I've never seen from a Celtic manager is a sense of appreciation and responsibility, whilst being supremely competent and not beholden to the fans. He appreciates, he doesn't get overawed, but he understands what it means.

And there's no lip service, until he does something big for us, he'll acknowledge it. He won't beforehand.

The guy has something special about him, not seen that certain unseen untangible quality since MON

Think it was the price of the tickets tbh. Even with Ange there need to start pricing these events better and fill the place.

Celtic manager and former Socceroos coach Ange Postecoglou has placed his luxe Toorak mansion with Paul Bangay gardens on the market with a $3m-$3.3m price tag.

The Melbourne-raised soccer boss – just voted manager of the year in Scotland after leading Celtic to a second successive league title in his third season there – has enjoyed a long and successful managerial career, also including stints at Melbourne Victory and Brisbane Roar.

In 2021, Postecoglou became the first Australian coach to lead a major European club when he was appointed manager at Celtic’s famous Parkhead stadium in the east end of Glasgow.

He was also the first Australian to win a European league title when he led the Glasgow-based club to their Scottish League Cup victory in the same year.

The high-profile soccer identity and his wife Georgia purchased the three-bedroom, 1/75-81 Grange Rd pad off market in 2016 for $3m, according to PropTrack data

Kay & Burton Stonnington partner Darren Lewenberg declined to comment on the home’s vendor, but said the property had been maintained over the past seven years and was in “impeccable condition”.

“It has a full northwest orientation with city glimpses from the balcony,” Mr Lewenberg said.

“As it’s a large development it’s impeccably built, every wall you touch and everything in the house is exemplary. It’s also low maintenance and in a location that provides access to Chapel St and Toorak Village.”

The glamorous Tuscan villa-style dwelling is located in Toorak’s award-winning Villaggio development and boasts established gardens by renowned landscape designer Paul Bangay.

Inside and past the intricate covered gallery at the facade, the home features elegant European interiors including vaulted ceilings and oak parquetry flooring, plus an open sandstone fireplace and pillars adding to its grandeur.

The stylish kitchen features a huge marble island bench, statement chandelier, Miele appliances and timber cabinetry, all overlooking the spacious living and dining area. This opens out to a courtyard through French doors.

Also on the ground floor is the grand main bedroom, complete with both a built-in and walk-in wardrobe, a stylish ensuite with a double marble vanity, and access to the front terrace.

Mr Lewenberg added that he had received “strong interest” from buyers looking to purchase a high-quality home, including a mix of downsizers and young families wanting to break into the Toorak market.

“People who are looking to somewhat downsize still want to have room for family who can come and live at the property, but don’t need large, gregarious gardens to deal with,” he said.

“And young families wanting to get into Toorak have that ability to be close to schools and access Como Park.”
