They need a manager like Valverde but I think he is working in Spain up north.

 

They use data and statistics to work out probabilities but they are in the know as much as the regular joe on the street if it will happen.

There's a very good chance Ange will be namedropped in their boardroom but just can't see him going anywhere this season.

He's still got work to do here.

 

I'm sure he's on their list, but I doubt he goes there. This summer is the big threat I think, especially if one of the top half a dozen clubs come in for him.

I will say, of all the clubs, Leeds aren't a joke club. There would be some personal pull for Ang to manage Leeds of all clubs as the first Australian to manage in the EPL. They have one of the biggest supporter bases in Aus and have a huge following from the Viduka/Kewell 90's/00's side, they had THE biggest support base in Aus prior to the real commercialization of the EPL. Their largest supporter base outside of England is in Aus (possibly turning now with the Americans) and they have always had a big following in Scandanavia.

It's not something to just brush off.

He would never leave mid season though.

Leeds will sign Iraola imo, which is still a very good get.

 

It will be a testament of his good faith in Celtic going forward, by staying with us .

 

The have good history in Europe under Revie as well.

It's been explained a thousand times: bookmakers react to a volume of bets. Someone could spread a rumor Harry Redknapp is taking over at Leeds, and his odds would get slashed.

 

If Ange goes to Leeds I will throw tomatoes at him.

 

I hope he stays and has another crack at Europe next season.

 

Hes about 5 or 6th favourite with sky at 20/1

He'll want another crack at playing Europe's best of the best, wont get that with the Leeds of the world right now.

 

Does that mean you would go down to Leeds to throw tomatoes at him? Might be a sacrifice worth making if it means your tragic patter disappears off this forum.

Ange ain't leaving FFS you need time to implement a style Leeds don't give managers time of he's sacked down there he ends up back off in obscurity I know he'll believe in his own ability but needs to build a reputation further before joining the sack race down there

I genuinely can’t see him going to Leeds, *, or even being interested in them. However if he did do a Rodgers rat move he can * off.

 

I think Leeds would appeal to Ange given the Viduka/Kewell links and their history, but sense will prevail here. Why leave mid season for a struggling side who'll take time to adapt to your methods? It would be madness.

 

If they came in for him just before the start of a new season, i would have been worried, but he wont go there at this point of the season. No chance.

Wont even have time to explain the tactics before risking getting sacked.
