So pleased to see and hear him further highlighting the ongoing bias… the statistics simply don’t lie…

The way the collective Scottish football media are circling the wagons right now is quite something…

Proper ‘lady protesting too much’ stuff…

Much like the 'ridiculous behaviour' hysteria that preceded/ran through the refs strike, it's very telling that they're in a flat out panic and finger pointing mode about this... They know that the whole world saw the veil pulled back for a moment, and need to muddy the waters as much as possible to deflect.

If you compare how Ange responded to this, and that it was after 'many incidents', versus the knee-*, accusatory response of Slippy G to EVERY single event against them, it's really very jarring. But who's the one 'slipping into paranoia'?... :43:

Ange Postecoglou insists it's not his desire fuelling the hunt for a Celtic treble - but his responsibility at Parkhead.

The Celtic boss watched his side go 12 points clear at the top of the league with victory over Kilmarnock - who they'll meet at Hampden next week.

Postecoglou's men take on Kilmarnock in the League Cup semi-final on Saturday, January 14.

And the Celtic manager is hoping to improve on his Scottish Premiership and League Cup haul last season by going for a domestic treble.

Quizzed on his "desire" to achieve a complete domestic trophy triumph this season - Postecoglou insisted that's the kind of pressure he signed up for at Celtic.

Speaking on BBC Sportsound, he said: "It's got nothing to do with my desire, it's to do with my responsibility at this football club.

You start every season wanting to win every domestic trophy that is available - that's what you sign up for.

"It's not actually in the contract but it might as well be there."

On extending the lead at the top of the table with Rangers to play tomorrow, the Celtic boss added: "We're comfortable with where we are. We know that there are still 17 games to go.

"We want to finish the season stronger than we started - that's our goal."

And discussing the upcoming Hampden clash, he concluded: "We're looking forward to it. It's going to be a tough game. A semi-final at Hampden, always a special day.

"We want to make sure we're successful to get to another final."

I see the record are running with a story that backs Beale up about the money we spend on players.

Saying Ange spend 46m and huns spending 30 less during that period.

Yes they have brought in their own income to be fair, but Ange has also sold 37m worth of players, with quite a few out on loan that we might get some transfer fees for, plus potentially a sizeable sell on fee for Frimpong coming soon.

Thats without the potential income expected from JJ or GG so to be fair to Ange after this window he could be in profit yet they fail to mention that!!

Ange Postecoglou has delivered a hilarious response when quizzed on a possible transfer for South Korean striker Cho Gue-Sung.

Celtic have constantly been linked with the frontman since he delivered some impressive performances for his country at the World Cup in Qatar.

MLS side Minnesota United and Bundesliga outfit Mainz are also said to be interested but it remains to be seen if a deal can be agreed this window.

Asked about the striker, Postecoglou said: “I’m not sure who is linking us. So I don’t really know.

“I’m not across it all the time I am kept abreast of it. I reckon around 10 per cent of what is out there at the moment is anywhere close to the truth.

“That is not because I think people are deliberately being misleading, it is just they get a bit of information from their cousin's barber’s neighbour and it becomes Celtic are linked to a certain player.

“From my perspective, I don’t stress about that stuff, when we are ready to do business, people have seen in the past, we do it.

“We don’t do it through the media, we don’t do it through speculation, we don’t do it with being linked.

“It is pretty straightforward. If there is an opportunity there and we feel really good about we will move quickly and get it done.”

Cho's club manager has broken his silence on his future, ahead of their return to training before a series of friendlies arranged before the start of the K League next month and revealed the bidding war has started.

Kim said: "Sadly, I don't think it will be too long before Cho leaves us.

"As a manager, I want my best players for the new season and I need them to help us challenge for the league.

"Cho is receiving a lot of attention for his good performance in the World Cup and it is true that another club has actually made an official offer to sign him.

"We are considering it carefully because it depends on the player's hopes for the future and his career path.

"Allowing a good player to leave is a bit difficult. I don't want to let them go. I will be very sad.

"When he scored those two goals at the World Cup I was delighted for him, but also worried because I knew exactly what would happen.

"I was well aware it wouldn't be long until we received bids.

"And there is certainly a possibility that he will leave in the winter transfer market right away."

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has insisted there is "no instability" in the Hoops squad amid transfer speculation linking Josip Juranovic and Giorgos Giakoumakis away from the club.

There has been interest in both players since before the January window opened with Juranovic's World Cup performances, in particular, putting him in the limelight.

Speaking ahead of the League Cup semi-final against Kilmarnock he said: " [There has been] Nothing. I think with the nature of football there will always be speculation in January.

"From my perspective, I do not really deal with it until it comes to me. It only comes to me when there is something there.

"We have not had anything like that for any player so far and everyone is focused on the game tomorrow.

"I don't feel like anything is dragging on because we are not really hanging on to something.

"Whether it is incomings where the opportunity is there. In terms of outgoings I am comfortable where we are at.

"In terms of the boys, they are all focused on the next game and there is no feeling of instability in the group. They are training hard."

The Australian also announced that the Hoops' injury situation is easing but they will still have an unchanged squad for Saturday’s game.

Anthony Ralston, Sead Haksabanovic, James McCarthy and Stephen Welsh all returned to training on Friday but will not play at Hampden.

“The guys who are coming back from injury, except for Greg Taylor, all of them trained today which is good,” manager Postecoglou said.

“They are all back training which is good but they have only had one session so no real change from last week.”

About 10% close to even being true? He just upto his usual not giving the media anything or have we genuinely not even put a bid in for Cho?

    What do you think?

He literally says we don't don't do our business in the media. I think he's already answered your question.

    It wouldn't surprise me :giggle1:

We had that Tengstedt guy talking about us one day and the next he signed for Benfica..

We've likely had talks and enquired about hundreds of players. Our name gets used a fair bit by them and agents for their own reasons.....usually to push other clubs in to action or the likes..
