The Giakoumakis issue is far greater than that tho mate. He's gone totally off the boil due to lack of minutes over the last 3 months and appears to have had a dip in confidence due to his lack of game time.

He was more than happy to sign the deal 18 months ago so again id think his lack of minutes is more the issue but only speculative.

If he's for off fair enough but the manger then has to take a long hard look at the situation and reassess his judgement that Kyogo is the main man for these games and those in europe coz his stats and his performances and those of the team say otherwise.

Yeah manager does deserve credit for going all out towards the end and got out of jail with it.

Can't really defend Ange after today starting Forrest was bizarre.

I'm sure he'll learn from it though.

Edit: The Giakoumakis stuff is bizarre he dropped him when he was the man in form. I can't really blame him for wanting to leave.

The only strange thing about the Giakoumakis thing is that the poodles haven’t painted him as the bad guy, as they did with Edouard, Dembele etc.

It’s no coincidence that Lawwell is back and suddenly players looking for new contracts are chucking it.

so It’s lawwell being back that is the catalyst for GG to want to leave? And you mention players plural…who else is chucking it due to not getting the improved contracts they’ve wanted?

Geeeze guys, just put it down to one of those days and be thankful we’ve taken a valuable point from the bigot dome. JJ wasn’t the answer today and by his comments Ange knows the balance of the team was out of whack. We live and learn, onto the next one.

Hope he learned a lot today. We can’t go into an away game at Ibrox again with our attitude and performance levels again.

Forrest was played because of his experience, to help AJ through the fixture. But he was pish, and no help to anyone

Made mistakes today. Forrest didn't come off and Jota and Giako should have been on much earlier. In hindsight Bernabei should have come on at left back too.

It happens. We managed a valuable point and move on. I do hope he learns from this though, it's not the first time he's played a curveball in a big game that's not come off.

I wonder if Jota and anyone else had an illness still, cos it seems crazy how late they were brought on

It's frustrating no beating the * especially with us going into it in decent form and the fact they were struggling through some games under new management. Definitely talking points and reflection to be had on the performance but objectively it's a very good result at a difficult and hostile venue where points are not guaranteed and keeps us ticking along nicely for another league title.

That will do me just fine:smoke:

It's not bizarre at all, the only reason Forrest started is a sickness bug has ripped through the squad, if everyone is fully fit he's obviously way down the pecking order, Ange didn't just randomly start him because the thought it was a great tactical decision. Both Jota and Abada have torn the huns a new hole, there's no way Forrest starts this ahead of either if they were 100%, he barely starts against the wee teams.

Strange decision with Forrest for me. But he's instilled fight and a never say die attitude and the reason we got a point was because of him.

Think back to where we were when he arrived, before ever heavily criticising. Still work to do yet but he knows that himself.

They saw some headlines about him COMING BACK last month and have just convinced themselves that's he's going to destroy us for no benefit of anyone, because they're the kind of miserable * that want something to be raging about all the time. Just completely ignoring that he hasn't gone and come back, but been on the board the entire time Ange has been here, his sudden unforeseen 'return' is going to ruin everything just because it is ok!

    Fannies, basically.

Juarnovic looks to have also chucked it.

And yes. They’ve likely been offered derisory contracts now the chief moron is back pulling the strings.

so he’s chucked it because he’s wanted a new contract and lawwell in his new role has lowballed him? Nothing to do with the fact he seems to have numerous big clubs lining him up and has intimated in the past he would like a challenge in a top 5 league then?

and can you fill us all in on how that is “likely?” Or is this just you guessing?

Even if that's true, and we only have rumours either way, it wouldn't excuse his performance.

Transfer window has only just opened, we aren't going to take the first offer made.
