If it is a confidence problem just give them a few pints before every game. I become a world champion at boxing, i am incredibly good looking, and think i am a machine when i get some drinks in me.

It sounds obvious but I think the next step in our progression is to get that signature big European win that we haven't yet achieved under Ange.

We had these kind of moments last season, like Aberdeen away, the Huns at home and of course the Cup win, which all seemed to really imbed that belief in the players. We've competed in every match in Europe so far this season, but the confidence gained from actually beating good sides in our next two matches would be massive.

You’ve build what would be a cracking J-League side but Hatate, Kyogo & Maeda are miles off it in Europe

Can talk about finishing all we like but we’ve been outclassed every game apart from shaktar, our players are nowhere near good enough to play his style in Europe and he’s a moron if he hasn’t figured that out now.

Seems we'll achieve a flurry of gimme's in the SPL, but I think that what we're learning here is that Angeball (for the type of squad we can afford) is at best naive, and at worst a vanity-project!

We have the core of a decent team here, and I feel that with better management we could be sitting second in this CL group.

I'm not a happy Bhoy tonight!

    Utter *!

Hate to say it, but he’s been schooled in the CL.

Really starting to get out my * with his favouritism towards certain players when it's pretty clear they aren't performing well enough or just not good enough. Kyogo shouldn't have even been starting this game, nevermind being on the pitch till the 75th minute, or whatever it was.

He's already got schooled by any half decent side he comes up against..

Soak up the pressure early on, pick us off in the second half.. like clockwork.

Have to say I think that you're right. I think he should have started with GG and I think that he takes too long to bring on subs

Will cut him a bit of Slack as we played that game without Jota, McGregor, Starfelt and mostly Abada, but I fear we aren't going to progress much in Europe under him.

    So naive it's unreal..

I know McGregor's injured but this guy wants to play a high tempo, pressing game and we end up chasing the game with a middle 3 of Mooy, Turnbull and O'Riley. My word..

Keeps persisting with favourites as well in the forward area's..

Every single game we've been out on our feet near the end. Any good side's will pick that off..

The whole squad's looking burnt-out already..

Don't think anything will ever take away my utmost respect for the man, but his insistence on sticking to his style no matter what, will be his downfall.

His failure to adapt is holding him, and us, back.

Bad pattern repeating itself after 55-60mins. Needs to seriously think about adapting the training, fitness, tactics and game plan to go longer.

We're more than competent at SPFL level, but it's naive to not be adaptive and pragmatic in the best and toughest club football competition in the world.

He's got to see this now and respond accordingly.

Can’t play in the champions league without a proper defensive midfielder. None of the Japanese boys are good enough at this level and I’ve not seen anything from abada in these games to say he is good enough either.

By next summer he will know that no matter what he does we will never make inroads in the CL as the club simply does not have the money to challenge even midtable teams in European comps. Half our team is * by 60mins and half of them are not good enough to play in the CL and to many of the team are small and lightweight and just get pushed off the ball. Then there is the headless chicken that is maeda....who is great in a team where there is two strikers scoring but when he is meant to be up there helping score and be a threat....holly *.
Europa is our level, mind you could not even get there last year. You can't play in the CL with players who cost 2-3 million and expect them to challenge teams with players valued at 40 million plus.

Rodgers did the same at this level, expansive football didn't have the personnel to execute it.
