I can see Paul asking for a rematch but Amir will use the excuse that he is heading to the states so I doubt there will be a rematch.

IMO Khan gave his all in them 6 rounds,he was bucked tired,McCloskey has not even got a mark on his face,he was on track to win that.

Take the re-match to USA and the Irish will fill any venue to watch a rematch.

I hope they force the issue on a rematch and let it happen in the USA.

I think Khan will be afraid to give a rematch, this was supposed to be an easy fight for him.

Khan on radio 5 insisting it was McCloskey's decision to end the fight..

"you could see on the slow motion he's saying he didn't want to go on"..

radio5live presenters (steve bunce and richie woodall) saying McCloskey didn't look too upset at the time of the stoppage and they feel he was heading for being knocked out in the 7th or 8th if it went on..

I didn't see any of it so can't say but they are adamant Khan would have won that fight regardless..

Khan had already given his best. He was running out of fuel.

No chance Jiko, when the Doctor told him his decision I am nearly sure Paul said "This is my life". McCloskey did not quit, no way.

Pure fix to set up Khan's multi-million pound fight with Bradley. * disgrace, feel sorry for McCloskey, didn't even look like he broke sweat. No wonder Hearn was goin mental!!

Like I say I didn't see any of it... Khan is the only one saying McCloskey was happy to have that get out.. Bunce and Woodall saying it was an awfull fight , McCloskey didn't do anything special but his movement made Khan miss and look terrible... They say Khan won every second of every round , and before McCloskey and Barry Hearn did their intervies Bunce said "I know they will say they planned on taking the fight to Khan from the 7th round.. That is what they will say , just as Audley Harrison after being knocked out in the 3rd by David Haye said he was going to stat taking the fight to Haye from the 4th round onwards".. Neither of Bunce or Woodhall think a rematch would be a good idea but think there's arguably justification for one , but Khan said he won't take it as he has bigger things to go for , and De La Hoya also gave the impression when he spoke on 5 live that a rematch isn't on their agenda...

Not a chance of a rematch at all mate, it's right to say Khan won every round up til it finished but McCloskey made him look very ordinaray and I seriously believe Khan was tired at that stage and McCloskey could have taken the fight to him in the later rounds.
Joke of a decision no 2 ways about it, as for Bunce and Woodhall I think what they more than likely mean is a rematch isn't a good idea for Khan.
The furore around the fight before it happened suggested Khan didn't want it anyway, the decision just adds further insult.

De La Hoya will realise the hype that McCloskey will create in the U.S now,i think a rematch could be on the cards if both men remain undefeated by this time next year.

there want be a rematch. i try to like khan/ support him but there somethinng stopping me. a like him, a want him to do well. but on the other hand when i'm watching him i'm like to myself, i wouldn't mind seeing him getting knocked out. a guess i'm just * off, i hate fights getting stopped because of cuts. it happened with khan and one of my old time greats barrara, maybe thats why i have a gender against him(slightly).

regarding the fight. khan won all the rounds. but mccoskey wasn't realy that hurt. the fight could have went on.

Nah , they did say Khan wouldn't want a rematch because he looked poor against McCloskey's southpaw stance though , and they blamed Freddie Roach for that , but their own opinions were that a rematch would be another awfull fight and they themselves wouldn't want to watch it.. They gave the impression they were really dissapointed with McCloskey because as they kept repeating , he never took a forward step and if you lose the first 6 rounds through lack of intent or through a gameplan of making your opponent miss and tiring him out for however many rounds with the thought that your going to knock him out late on , and then the fight doesn't goto plan then he's only got himself to blame.. They didn't like whatever gameplan they were using and both said Khan was going to knock him out if the fight went another round or two so I guess in their eyes they already felt the outcome would be the same as McCloskey only had one way to fight that fight..
