I'd like to see him start today, hopefully with Watt too. Too many people are writing him off already.

Lennon really has no faith in this guy... makes you wonder why we splashed out £2m on him.

Worried that his Celtic career isn't going to even get the chance to take off.

I think it says it all that he didn't even come on today, when I've seen him he doesn't look great, especially his ball control.

Worried he didn't get on the pitch today, thought during the latter part of the game would of been a great time to bring him on, strange to pay so much for a player and have him sit on the bench.

If there's one good thing to come out of him not making an appearance today, it's that Lennon will definitely go out and buy another quality striker to properly replace Hooper.

There's no way he's going to go into the CL group stages, if we get there, with a strikeforce of Stokes, Balde and Watt. Samaras is more effective on the wing, so he doesn't really count.

Typically reading far too much into things. Watt came on for Boerrigter as Watt can play wide left and has done before for Celtic. Bringing on Balde for him would have pushed Stokes out wide meaning he more than likely wouldn't have scored the winner and bringing him on for Stokes himself would have definitely meant that.

His chance will come, he is very raw and needs time.

He didn't even mention Balde there when talking of strikers. Something is up.

Could be a long wait for him, especially as it looks like Sammy and Stokes will be battling it out for the lone striker role, then with us on the lookout for another striker he could find himself 4th in the pecking order very quickly.

Think about it though. We needed a goal to win the game, if we had got it earlier we'd have seen Balde on the park. He's not settled in enough to bring him on demanding a winner out of him. Plus the whole formation of the team today was based around Stokes and Hooper, playing neat passes in and around the box and creating chances. Bringing on Balde would have had us resorting to high balls into the box to try to pick him out, something that Ross County could defend a lot easier than the Stokes/Commons.
