Hopefully we will see Balde and Watt starting upfront next week in the home leg.

They could get 2 goals apiece and still some would be calling them a couple of pish flaps.

Surely after the Bangura and Murphy signings, Lennon will get one right!

Murphy signed before Hooper, Stokes and Watt.

Hooper was a good signing alright. The rest have yet to prove their worth in my opinion and the two I mentioned were just one big waste of cash.

Spotting Samaras when so many were against him was a great shout by Lennon however.

Yeah I agree Watt still has a lot to prove but wouldn't you say he's made a promising contribution?

Stokes was a good signing, 40 goals in his first 2 seasons and a lot of assists to add, I've never quite taken to him, but he was a good signing alright. Was unlucky last season.

Bangura and Murphy were wastes yeah, but from what I've heard, we've made a wee bit on Loan fee's from Bangura, so that isn't all bad. I wish we gave him more of a chance. Murphy was just a pure waste in my books.

I agree on pretty much all of this. Stokes didn't cost a lot and hasn't been a bad signing. Probs about what I expected in not a little more actually.

Watt cost very little of course but why oh why isn't he being given a chance??? I don't get it? We don't see what they do in training but surely he has more to his game than Stokes?

The other two were terrible signings. Awful.

Stokes basically saved Lennon's * with those infamous goals at Killie.

    Metrobhoy will never rate Stokes.

Just need to accept that, he still didn't like him after Rennes or the cup final 7 weeks ago.

    * knows why.

Stokes has a real chance to cement his place as first choice starter at the club, now that it looks like Hooper is leaving.

Big couple of months coming up for Tony.

I praised Stokes on his form at the end of last season. Best I've seen of him! I don't expect anything better though. Just being realistic.

He doesn't have enough pace to make it matter when it counts. To perform in the Champions League we need better imo.

He's not a Scott McDonald either who was strong enough to cope against the more physical defenders. He made up for the lack of pace with this quality.

Tony Watt looks to me that he has a real chance. I don't see them in training though like I said.
