    Most definitely I've been slating him this pre season as he's been nothing short of abysmal,he decided to turn up in the second half against Berlin...
    That wasn't because we have cliftonville next week was it kris....:38:

    I like him good player,but he turns it on when he wants and been pure lazy this pre season so far

    I watched the Berlin game up until their second went in then I turned it off so cannot comment much on his 2nd half performance. Was rank in the first half though and in the previous 3 games contributed very little. I like him too but we rely on him a bit too much to create things at times, and when he is not on form or up for it then you have no chance of getting anything out of him. We need another player who is similar in style, younger and pacier to come in and help him out. Tonev would have been good I feel.

    The whole * team have been gash in preseason. Especially Commons and Stokes.

    The big man obviously wants the ball into his feet and we've barely been that far up the park without lobbing it over his head.

    On the back of Wanyama's departure, Hooper's inevitable departure and Matthews, Van Dijk, Mulgrew and Ledley being out injured; 14 players wore a Celtic shirt and not one of them was Amido Balde, hopefully this doesn't set the tone for his career in Paradise.

    It won't. He's only been here about a month. Once he's settled down and got a few competitive games under his belt we will be in a better position to make a judgement on what sort of player he'll be in the hoops. I think he'll come good.

    Playing against a top European outfit like Cliftonville was obviously a step too far for him. We'll need to ease him in gently with a few games against teams like Arbroath reserves, Civil Service Strollers or Sevco.

    The opposition in the SPL is 10 times better than Cliftonville, yet alone our future opponents in qualification and hopefully the group stage. I just hope he gets the entire 90 minutes next Tuesday to prove himself.

    All the subs used today were hot prospect, so I wouldnt look to much into him not getting a game. Hopefully him and Watt start up top for the home leg.
