    Yes, I understand it was only a pre-season game but man is he worrying me.

    That's three games he's played in and he's barely done anything right. Even his movement looks non-existent. Jury is still most definitely out.

    IF Amido Balde turns out to be another flop then we seriously need to evaluate our striker signing policy, since 2010. I'm not writing him off but I fear for him.

    Hooper and Stokes were signed in 2010. Watt has not proved he is consistently productive for the first team. I said SINCE 2010 i.e 2011, 2012 and 2013.

    We're just saying that judging by our recent signings in the attacking department, it could turn out to be a bad signing. Plus the fact he's had 3 games and hasn't done anything to sway us.

    I'm not writing him off, just simply voicing my lack of excitement.

    Early signs not great I will admit. Looks a bit clumsy, barely kicked a ball mind you in the last half hour or so there. Only touch he did get was meant to be a controlling touch (I think) but ended up skewing away down the line.

    I am desperate for this guy to succeed, need a bit of luck with new strikers, last 2 or 3 have not been great.

    Always find big guys take longer to get up and running in terms of match fitness. Usually takes Sammy ages (not this season though apparently!)

    You get a sixth sense sometimes about how a player will turn out, i can always tell when a player will turn out crap because my brother will think they are amazing, he said this of bangura and miku and now balde.

    Lets hope he is right on this one.

    Don't forget he played against Crewe and did nothing there as well. So that's 4 games he has done nothing. Bangura at least scored in every bounce game and friendly :icon_mrgreen:
