Hugh has the iq of a cashew nut. The * has no idea how to use a comma correctly; as such he can waffle on as much as he wants - entertaining me greatly in the procesz.

 

Really dislike that *, would honestly love to put one right on his coupon.

 

He actually doesn't say anything in that article that merits criticism.

 

Read that,this is good news because we all know how Keevins predictions pan out.

 

That's the first video I've seen of him. Deliberately didn't look up any footage so my judgement would be solely based on his games in a Celtic shirt. But I couldn't help myself now he's signed.

He does look a little raw in places, but we are never gonna sign the finished article and, at 21(?), there is plenty of time to smooth out the rough edges to his game.

He certainly looks to give us something we don't have up front, and haven't for a while - possibly since Big Jan left.
He's obviously got height and ability in the air, but I'm surprised at how decent he looks on the ball. Likes to roll his foot over it and can turn defenders. Also looks like he has a wee trick and a bit of pace to get away from defenders.
Also, a massive bonus that he has spent the last year as a lone striker, since I imagine that's how he'll be used in Europe.

Did he say in the press conference his style was similar to Adebayor? Can definitely see that in his play. Just hope he's not as lazy.

 

The reaction to him saying he plays like Adebayor has been a negative one in general. I don't understand why.

 

From the footage he looks an absolute handful. His sheer size and power is ideally suited to playing up top on his own in Europe. He'll run the channels and hold the ball up no bother.

Think he has a bit to learn in terms of decision making. The youtube videos show him being guilty of taking on men when he shouldn't and running into groups of defenders but he's young and clearly talented, we're never going to get the finished article on our budget.

I think he'll be a cracking signing.

 

His biggest weakness that I've seen just from the YouTube clips were whenever he drags the ball onto his left and does all the hard work by getting away from the defender/s his left footed shots are really poor all on that side were scuffed into the ground...

Lets hope his right foots a lot better,not seen hardly anything if this guy just YouTube but he looks strong,good at holding up play,will be good playing up top on his own,good in the air,nice bit of pace and good at turning away from defenders...

 

* Hugh * Keevins,he's shown time and time again that he doesn't have a * clue.

 

An absolute * is exactly what Keevins is,he slates balde in his article and the guys only just arrived...

There complete opposites as strikers aswell we don't have a balde,closest thing is samaras and he is now an established left winger...
Russell would have been a good signing but he's similar to your stokes,is he better than stokes I don't think so..

Talking about scarf wearing,kissing the badge and watching celtic games in his country so * what it's par for the course for foreign players and agents to connect to the fans as quickly as possible and throwing a couple of far off white lies is harmless!

Was making it good guy bad guy with Russell and balde and a complete waste if a read,2 minutes I won't get back!

 

Keevins can go take a rub at himself, he's lookin to get a reaction at every turn. ignore the *.

He has previous for this, he had a go at us in the past for signing Lubo Moravcik instead of John Spencer.

 

Thats down to Adebayor as a person rather than his style of play though. From what I've read(former coach) and seen(youtube), Balde doesn't look lazy.

 

Yeah tbh I don't see much of Adebayor in his game from videos, hope it's like that when he pulls on the hoops

 

Have people actually read that article or are they just blinded by hate for Hugh Keevins?

 

Seems a bit greedy from his YT clips. A couple of times he had a teammate in acres of space and chose to go it alone.

Hopefully we can coach that out of him.
