Not sure mate. I reckon we're just as appealing as Tottenham though, so it should interest him if the situation happened.

Top European manager is needed though, not some * who's been managing in the SPL/Championship all his career.

Obviously I don't mean guys like Rijkaard or whatever, but someone with some European pedigree would be ideal.

Why dont we all accept that the football has been dire this season and both Celtic and Rangers have been * poor this season and doing their best to throw the title away all season but I still back WGS as he is working on a tiny budget compared to Oneil is that his fault ? I think we all deserve better from Strachan down but the board are not supporting him financially

    Ramos? You kidding?

The guy is without doubt one of the best managers in the world.

For long spells at Sevilla they looked favourite to win the league and then lost it on the last day of the season. Won two Uefa Cup's in a row. I'm sure he brought in players like Kanoute and Luis Fabiano, who're some of the best strikers in La Liga now.

At Tottenham he won the first cup for them in * knows how long. Signed some good players like Hutton, Corluka, Woodgate. He has an eye for a player, clearly.

At Madrid He done brilliantly to get them back in the title race. Signed good players again in the January window. Just unfortunate that Schuster done so poorly at the start of the season.

Strachan is a manager who should be in the bottom half of the EPL. Southampton is probably his level, not Celtic.

First thing you'd notice if we got Ramos in is the style of football. It'd be a lot more entertaining than the pish we're being served up every week currently.

Secondly, the signings. Only now are Brown and Caldwell starting to justify their signings. Along with Boruc, Nakamura and McDonald, they're the only real top signings he's made. The rest of them are utter garbage. The only one with potential to be class is Crosas and that was Lawwell's business we're told.

We won't get Ramos, but my point is, a European manager is needed. The football would be 10x better.

yeah but that's on a better budget than the one out * board would give him.

we must start to splash some cash or we're *. doesn't matter wether
    it's GS or Ramos.

on the ramos point, PLG is a fine example of what can happen to a quality european manager if not backed financially.

Doesn't matter if it's on a better budget. Imagine Strachan's signings at Madrid or Spurs? He'd probably sign folk like Jimmy * Bullard for Madrid.

Finance was never Paul Le Guen's problem at Rangers. He wanted to change too many things and the Huns weren't happy.

He wasn't happy with folk like Boyd and Ferguson, who're obviously bigger than the club.

Add that to the fact he was a catholic and it spells disaster.

we won't know until he's given proper cash. i adored MON as boss (my favourite manager of my lfetime) but even he couldn't help but sign players like mo sylla on a small budget.

Every manager makes bad calls, not many make calls as good as Boruc, Naka, Skippy and Caldwell though.

And I think he's made some disgraceful signings for us. He's signed more fannies than fantastic's.

Boruc, Nakamura, Brown, Caldwell, fantastic. The rest are garbage who don't deserve to wear the shirt of Celtic's reserves.

Good post:50: The tactics were all wrong today. We should have went 5 across midfield with McDonald on his own. That way we would have had a plan B instead of just switching similar players in the 2nd half.

He's also signed a good few decent players as well. Hinkel, Maloney etc.

More bad than good. I wouldn't credit him with the Maloney signing though. It was obvious Maloney would end up back at Celtic, regardless of manager.

    Disagree on that.
