what i'm saying is that getting an experienced european manager has no guarantees os success. we could even bring in rijkard, but unless he's given cash he'll fail.

PLG never really had much to spend. obviously that wasn't the only factor in him failing but it was big enough.

you also say he tried to change too much, what's the guarantee that ramos would not do the same to us. we just won't know.

cash available is a must for whomever is our boss next season.

if we win all our remaining games (3) this season and Huns win only two we will win the league but regardless surely there's more to the Strachan situation than we know about. Maloney is not playing anything like he used to and neither is McGeady. I'd have to think that the talent is there but the managerial motivation is not. We are in sorry shape with Strachan as ramrod - looking at the squad I like Brown, McGeady, Samaras. Crosas, Hinckel, Maloney and the Polish keeper whether it be Artur or the freebie, but outside of that we need to spend money big time - and Owen is not the answer!

forgot to include Skippy in that last post - he's worth his salary.

the problem didn't start yesterday, in a good world we would have won the league months ago. at one time we had a lead of 7 points, but we managed to * away that gap. that's not only unbelievable, it's also ridiculous.

we ain't a * poor team, we are the best team in scotland. we are supposed to have the best squad, the best resources, the best manager, the best management, the best training facilities etc.

yet we managed to lose many many points and we can't win the league now without the huns slipping up. no need to mention the standard the huns are in at the moment.

after all that, I still fail to see how we have got into deep * this season. something ain't just right behind closed gates. somebody just ain't making his job. there's some issues at cp we don't know of.

the league ain't lost yet, but to be honest our time is running out.

Conspiricy theorys galore! The sad fact is we weren't good enough on the day & our squad is not miles ahead of the huns in terms of ability. Sack the manager? Ha yeah thats gonna make us ten times better. What we need for the team is a significant injection of cash to be spend on good quality, capable players who aren't just happy to beat the huns every season, but want european medals & have their own personal goals & desires to be successful. Now strach has not had that cash to bolster our squad & catapult us away from our hun neighbours. WE NEED CASH TO BUY WINNERS NOT A NEW GAFFER. Do you really think some geezer is gonna stroll into CP wave a magic wand & all of a sudden we're world beaters?! Nah i don't. I agree things need to be looked at, not all is rosey in the garden of paradise, it's easy to blame strach but have a look at our balance sheet board, keep the shareholders happy while the fans go through * in a nailbiting run in AGAIN. But we all need someone to blame don't we?! HAIL HAIL, KEEP THE FAITH!

We were let down by them all yesterday manager and players alike.....let's hope that they can redeem themselves on Tuesday night.

Not having a go at WGS here but his tactics do baffle at times. I wouldn't trust him to play Ronaldo every week if by some crazy chance we had him. I think he tinkers with the team too much.... if it aint broken don't fix it until you have to.

On the plus side Boyd still can't score against us.......only one goal in how many games? :icon_mrgreen:

STRACHAN - How much longer do we need to see him making terrible decisions? Tbh the only reason he has won 3 titles is because the huns are *. We cant hide the fact we have been playing poor football all season. Ive been holding back for a long time about my concerns all season how the team is going backwards rather than foward im not blaming him for Celtics defeat yesterday what so ever. Ive had enough of his silly decisions which are costing us points after points. I had alot of confident in WGS for far too long now. Only thing ill thank him for champions league last 16 2 years in a row, apart from that - STRACHAN MUST GO!!!

Played 4-5-1, playing to our strengths instead of playing a long ball up to an out of form CF ?

Yes the wee man is an enigma but if there ever was a time that we should all stick together it is NOW.

We all need to get behind the manager and the team irrespective of personal feelings towards WGS because if we don't this negativity will find it's way onto the field. We HAVE to support this team like never before if we're to have any chance of pushing them over the line :50:

Even if we had won yesterday we would still have been looking over our shoulders in fear during the next 3 games so don't let us kid ourselves that Rangers are not doing the same thing.........It's theirs to lose now as it would have been ours. Wattie will be keeping a jaundiced eye on us now.

Having slept on this and got over the initial disapointment and call me delusional if you like but I've got a feeling that this could still go our way. We know what pressure is and have had to overcome it before........sometimes it's good to be the underdog :50:

We all need to get behind the players aslong as we're still in with a shout of winning this league.

Ive had faith all season. I slept on it last night when i woke up it made me realise its not even worth it anymore. If anything were going backwards every game we play. 7 points clear when we * them in December, we are now 2 behind. My faith is running along the clyde on a banana boat. :50:

we tried the 4-5-1 with Aidan, Naka and Maloney at the start of the season and we were totally destroyed.

If there was one preventable thing that stood out there it was the fact Celtic FC have only one reasonable quality reliable striker. Having only three 1st team strikers is bad enough but when 2 of them are a has-been and an unreliable enigma we have problems (but tend to be crocked too). Personally I think that is a board or funding issue not a WGS one. I think our strongest 11 is a decent side that woulld be hard to improve on without a big spend but the striker situation has been threatening to bite us all season. Oh for a Frank McAveenie or even a Rambo - a mobile all round striker like them is what we need. CF is one of the positions our reserves have long ceased producing in.

I honestly think it´s time for a fresh change I appreciate what WGS has done but the teams performances seem to get worse each season. I would like to see Tony Mowbray brought as he is an ex-celt and knows how to play the celtic way and his teams seem to play some good on the deck stuff.

IMO - keep Boruc Hinkel Caldwell McGeady Brown Maloney Skippy Robson, everyone else can * off. McCourt is running a mock week in week out in the reverses team, why aint he playing? Ben Hutchison is the top goal scorer in the reserves, why aint he getting a chance? :50:
