If ever there was an "All time greatest Diddy award" on TalkCeltic - you would win it hands down after this moronic comment.

Henchoz played a few games for us - nothing more than average performances that I can barely remember.

HAHAHAHAHA......that wasnt just a put down that was a gunned down........hahahahaha...and so true......any player part of the seville team i think is admonished from any diddy list......unfortunatly Rab Douglas was the biggest diddy in that squad......but he was part of the seville squad and was part of a squad that gave us some great nights.

    Stephane Bonnes, the ultimate enigma.

Stayed here for 4 years, did * all then went to Thistle and did * all then retired at 26.

Andre Blackman will find himself on this list very soon. Embarrassing to see a guy like him pull on the hoops. You could honestly walk down the local park and pick up a better LB.

At least some of the guys in here had some pedigree and had played for respectable teams... AFC Wimbledon :52:

Many years ago "Not the View" ran a series of features on the back page called "They Embarrassed the Hoops" it was absolutely gold for this sort of thread. The one I remember most was Ian McWilliams described thus "a man so tall he was on nodding terms with giraffes" :icon_mrgreen:
I think he may have been one of Big Jocks last signings.
    Of the ones on here already;
Scheidt, remember once against Aberdeen at home he passed the ball straight out of play. Signed on the basis of never been seen live just video.
    Bonnes
    Slater
    Andrews (Ian)
    Sneddon (Hawkeye)
    Muggleton
    Fillipi
Galloway (got done by Durrant on our byeline in a cup game at Ibrox who then crossed for only goal of game...eejit)

Ach so many, and I would never have Bobo on my list, if only we had him now :86:

Bobo would tighten the back up very well granted he wasnt the most gifted player but he usually done what was needed.

As for utter diddy I remember a game at easter road a sub came on and passed the * ball straight to chic charnley who scored the winner cant remember the diddys name thou ........................:56:

Aye I remember that clown, should have known he was rubbish by his well dodgy haircut and the fact as the media kept saying he only cost £650K whilst the Rangers were spending millions and millions on far better players !! :56:

And you've got this from 3 games (in which he hardly disgraced himself)? Something tells me that his being released from Wimbledon has done more to colour your perception than his performances.

Balde was a good player but erratic at times, you could't trust him. The thing I remember most from him was getting sent off during extra time v Porto in Seville and then * up in the last minute v Lyon when we were drawing 2-2 and qualifying out of the group. He spent the last couple of years sitting on his * taking a wage and refusing to move on when Strachan made it clear he didn't want him.

Balde was a tool. Ian Andrews was a diddy.
