    Anybody else * sick of talkceltic going very slow due to the number of people who are on it, the with the vast majority not actually members ?!! :31:

    Of course. We need to disable guests viewing the site content because it's soooooo slow with over 900 members on in the same time.

    I know the admin are probably trying to sort it out and I respect that but surely this cant go on, i also understand that it simply cant be a case of members only because all the non members will sign up and not post resulting in the same problem.

    Its a tricky situation for the admin but I am now officially begging for them to come up with something.

    The performance issues isnt anything to do with guests.

    Why do people like to create scapegoats when anything goes wrong?

    The issue could be a number of things which is part of the problem.

    During the game tonight It took me about 5 minutes for the pages to load, whereas on another window on a different site it was very very fast.

    When I eventually got the page to load there was over 1000 guests on.

    Lemme repeat myself, the amount of guest members isnt causing the "white page problem". There is a known issue that is yet to be resolved.

    This website has handle double that capacity before with minimal performance issues.
