    The majority of Porto team were from Portugal. Can mind in the 2004 Euros 8 out of 11 players for Portugal were from that Porto team.

    We either sell him now for a higher price, or keep a player who wants away until January and sell for a lower price. His contract runs out in December 2013. It also means more money in the WARCHEST later on.

    In these circumstances, cashing in would be prudent.

    My feelings too - but I'd add that he was never going to fit the SPL: deep-lying playmaker types don't get enough space or time on the ball. I thought we missed him against Helsingborgs. I hope we replace him with that kind of player when he leaves: someone like Henriksen.

    Swansea manager talking about Ki and how excited he is to be signing him. Glad this should all be wrapped up by tomorrow, hopefully the board will release some funds to start pursuing at least 1 player if not then the 2 we need.

    News is that this is ''smashing'' swansea's record transfer fee. Supposed to be nearly double that of the previous record 3.5 million pounds. 6 million with minor add ons has been rumoured to be the deal.
