    Who bid £7m?

    I'd take £6m in a shot

This team needs investment to reach the group stages and I can't understand why people wouldn't take the prices being quoted for Ki. £7 million ? The sale of Ki could be the difference between us reaching the group stage.

It's already too late. We couldn't and probably shouldn't sign someone and throw them in. We go with what we have and I'm still confident that we can get there.

if the money is right , ie 7 or 8 mill plus , then selling him would not be the worst thing if it means the money will go on a centre back and an attacker. if we get into the champs league group stages hen no doubt further funds will be released to lenny . i reckon Ki is going to have a really good season if he stays ....thing is we could wait to see if he performs well in the champions league , which would see his value tip over the ten million mark ....there is no rush to sell him .

I think we rejected 6m from Rubin Kazan for Ki so if QPR offer more I wouldn't mind selling him if the money was invested in the team.

If we need to sell before we can buy a CB, then punting this glorified bench warmer should be at the very top of our list of priorities.

If truth be told it's an absolute embarrassment that we've had such a dearth of quality CB's for years now.

We've wasted so much money on some absolute * in that area.

agreed it's always bad when a club like celtic can't find a quality defender and spend 3 million on the likes of loovens

I'm beginning to think its poor tactical set up rather than poor players.the likes of loovens and hooivelt came with decent reputations yet failed to perform.look at big jos now,he was 1 of Southampton star players

Hopefully someone puts in a good bid for him so Lenny can get some money to spend on a commanding, pacey centre back. I don`t think he`s a bad player, far from it, but he is going to be behind Kayal, Ledley, Brown, Wanyama in the pecking order. We should be cashing in in on him especially considering he hasn`t very long left on his contract either

:56:its an ad ffs, what do you expect him to say. His own quotes are worth much more than whatever he says in a Nike/Celtic ad, half of which was probably read from a script.

And I don't have any problem with him wanting to play in England, if thats his personal ambition then thats fine but he should keep that to himself. Wanyama acted similarly earlier in the summer and it was just as disrespectful. Players should keep their mouths shut regarding transfers until the deals are complete. I also think his decision to play in the Olympics is a disgrace.

Does playing in the olympics not get him off serving compulsory military service back at south korea?

I have no idea but if thats the case then I can't fault him for playing.
