I know what you mean. I cannot stand glory hunters. I see a ton of that here in the US with football as well. They had never heard of Manchester City until a few years ago and now their jersey's are common place at any football event here.

Any of the six teams in the other quarter final will bring more support than Cork and Kerry combined. Mayo will probably take more fans than Cork and Kerry combined.

The second quarter final will sell out fairly quickly Croke Park. The limited ticket release for the Cussack stand sold out the day they were released and this with only two of the teams confirmed.

    All-Ireland SFC quarter-finals

    • Donegal v Round 4B Winner, Croke Park, 4pm** (Sky Sports)
    • Dublin v Round 4B Winner, Croke Park, 6pm** (Sky Sports)
**Donegal cannot meet Monaghan again at this stage and Dublin cannot meet Meath. If neither win, there will be a draw to determine which of the Rd 4B winners (Armagh, Kildare) play which of the provincial champions.

The four provincial champions should make the semis

    Dublin V Donegal
    Mayo V Kerry

Mayo will have it toughest as Cork are easily the strongest of the qualifiers. Going on history Mayo would be happier going in as underdogs. Do you feel Mayo do better as underdogs and often flop when they are expected to win?

Yes mate, I think that's often the case. Even at the younger level in club football I preferred being the underdog for some reason! Think we have enough to beat Cork though. Who's your team?

EDIT: Just saw your location :50:

It would be good to meet in the final again this year. Both teams looking for revenge. You for the final loss in 2012 and us for the tankin last year.

Unusual (especially for a Mayo man) in that I actually prefer watching hurling to the football. Love playing football though.

Think Armagh should do Meath, Armagh are getting back on form. Monaghan to beat Kildare who are going backwards these days.

As for the quarter finals on Sunday, has to be wins for Kerry and Mayo. In fact Mayo should racket up a big win against the rebels.
Surely Galway will stick a sweeper in against against Kerry to nullify the likes of Dec Sullivan and O'Donoghue but they will still be too strong for them. I do think Galway are slowly but surely dragging themselves up the ladder again but are still a year or two away from being considered a real threat.

Like Aiden O'Shea said this weekend is when the Championship truly gets underway.
