What an amazing come back that was from Dublin there against what is a good Cork side. If Dublin can reproduce that kind of form in the final against Derry then a second straight National League title is there for the taking.

What a performance by Dublin this weekend against Derry. I thought Dublin would win by not at the canter they did. If Dublin continue playing with the kind of mental strength and character they showed in the semi-final win over Cork and the attacking brilliance they showed in the final against Derry a second straight season of National League and All Ireland titles looks on the cards.

Given Dublin have now won 2 All Ireland titles in 3 seasons and now back to back National League titles and you add in the success Dublin has been enjoying and continues this season to enjoy at underage level this could end up being a real golden era for Dublin Gaelic football.

Bet O'Hare is kicking himself for that brutal miss from the free when Down were 2 points up.

    I have to say.
Down bottled that match a bit, they had the win and blew it.
I dont think Tyrone will give them a second chance in the replay.

The games in the football so far in Ulster have been tense, hard fought close games. We are seeing teams change strategy and make tactical substitutions in order to get the upper hand. Watching evenly matched sides fight for victory though is so boring. I suppose having played puke football for all our lives we know no better.

Roll on the games to come this month when we will see the silky skills of Dublin, Cork and Kerry hammer Laois, Tipperary and Clare/Waterford. Us norther's can watch these southern dandies give us a lesson on how attacking football is played as they defeat their vastly inferior opposition. We can watch in awe as these teams do not need to change tactics during the game and can constantly play exhibition type football.
