No team should be able to win like that I know we went defensive in the last 2 finals we where in but no where near that bad probably the worst game I've seen since the 8-6 game no even atmosphere in ground nothing but an anti-climax to the championship

This was my first Sam too. I think I've got a good idea of how it works (and I enjoyed the game). But it looked like there was a punch up at the end after the last Donegal attempt on goal. Why was no one penalised? :smiley-laughing002:

How can you call Donegal boring or negative when they scored 3-14 against Dublin while supposedly playing defensive football.
Donegals tally in 2012 baring in mind no black card then
    Ulster final 2-18
QF V Kerry 1-12 the same as Dublin managed against lowly Laois
    Semi V Cork 0-16
Final V Mayo 2-11 one point less than Dublin scored in 2013 against the same opposition.

As for today we lost. No complaints. Kerrys tactics may not have been pretty but they won the game so well done to them. If Jim leaves then we will be relying on the beaten minor team the next time we will contest the latter stages of the championships. Hopefully Armagh will be able to make the step up next year.

I mentioned the 2012 final which was actually a good game to watch I thought to emphasise that you can be entertaining and it certainly wasn't just donegals fault kerry are as much to blame for a * game but as you said the win is all that counts I was just lookin at it from a neutrals perspective commiserations anyways man sure yous will be back next year

That will depend on Celtic. Jim is idolised in Donegal like no other manager in GAA history. Not one person I spoke to yesterday put any of the blame for the defeat on him. People believe he cannot do any wrong. The likes of Mick O'Dwyer shared the limelight with a couple of their great players. The only Donegal player to receive any great plaudits is Michael Murphy. I believe if he does not leave in the next few days he will stay.

Many are saying if he leaves no one would want the job of having to follow in his footsteps. For a new manager the expectations would drop and any sucess would be seen as a huge achievement. In reality it is a job to take over a team that has reached 2 finals in 3 years winning 1 of them where an Ulster title would be seen as a success .

Obviously from a dublin point of view I want him think that's a testament to how good he is but hopefully he will stay I think next year will be extremely though to pick a winner kerry back now and will be stronger next year I'd expect massive improvement from cork tyrone and Kildare meath will probably be taken an other step forward how will mayo do under new management dublin will be a lot stronger with killkenny back and will donegal still have that winning mentality after that defeat there will most likely be a new team who causes a few scares really looking forward to it

On a positive yesterday and Dublin fans should take note(not necessarily you but the majority), the hill was full for the start of the minor game. There would have been around 55k in for the start of the second half and close to 70k there to witness the end of the minor game.

Yea I said earlier really impressed by that I was donegal have great support the hill seemed full of yellow if that was a semi final between us to it would probably only be 60000 kerry may have the best history and probably the best players but they have * fans who only go for the final

I thought the game wasnt great as a spectacle, i thought kerry were marginally the better team and deserved to win, I thought donegal were too worried about donaghy and and the donegal keeper had a really poor game.
