Can't see anyone challenging us in the football this year hopefully Alan is back for good Bernard hasn't even played yet
In the hurling I think kilkenny will destroy everyone come championship time this year

Thank * SKY came in and won the tv rights that TV3 had cause they were awful!!
Hoping to see a high standard of production, one that will keep RTE on its toes.
Nothing wrong with a bit of competition.

Think you are right about the football. Thought Mayo may have had a chance but after watching this weekends match I can't see them challenging you. I know it ended in a draw but it was one of the most one sided draws I have ever seen, surprised you didn't win by 10 points at least!

As for the hurling I think Clare are gonna take it this year

Gets a fair bit but most of us up here get our GAA intake from the southern media. Wee rumour doing the rounds at club level that Mickey had a bust up with one of the selectors after the cork game. Probably a load of * but you never know

The hurling will be wide open like last year and hopefully as exciting.. Mayo will be there or there abouts come the final but will bottle it as usual, might have a chance if Dublin get knocked out.

That was a quality match mate! We had some cracking hurling last year and the final replay was the best match I have ever seen, even if the defending left a lot to be desired haha

Yeah big time.. It will especially hit folks down the country in the smaller communities where the next door neighbor or pub is miles away. :54::38: Sickening really.

    Because Dublin's Dublin.
I don't mind the Gaelic fans in the county really, its just Dublin's seems to have alot of people who have no time for the GAA, which is stupid as its our national sport.
And then you have the ones that dont watch a bit of Gaelic until Dublins into the 1/4's, which is the same as most counties but Dublin seem to have more.

Is it *! The way the Dublin media get on is the same as the English media in the run up to the world cups and euros. They try to make out you are the best thing since sliced bread and that is the main reason people hate Dublin.

Oh that and you think you have a * given right to win old sam every year :icon_mrgreen:
