:38: * Sake, not like he did it on purpose. It started before he came out so as a mark of respect he stayed in the tunnel (with rangers officials aswell) so not to interrupt it.
Everyone at the ground today should applaud themselves for the respect shown at the silence

It's good to hear you say that Gunt because as everyone on this board knows I had my doubts too about a rookie manager, but Lennon has gone up in my estimation today as well.

Neil Lennon did something today that Jock, MON or a host of others couldn't do as managers of Celtic.

He won at ibrox in the first week of January.

    Lenny is Legend.

He has had a lot of criticism for his tinkering when it has gone wrong this season so he deserves the credit when it goes right. I was totally * off when I saw a lineup that included Mulgrew but bottom line is it got the result. That said I dont think that it all worked and there were players who did not have a great day but the result is what matters. I still would not expect to see anything like this lineup again. Lenny really does seem to be doing the WGS approach of tinkering the lineup to fit the opposition rather than the MON approach of the same team most weeks. It hasnt worked that well this season but it did today and I like a manager who is tactically sophisticated. We need that because we cant rely anymore on overwhelming advantage in player quality alone as we did under MON.

Lennon got the tactics spot on today. i thought sammy was doing well even b4 his goals, winning headers but most of the time there was no one to get on the end of the flick ons but we got the win in the end anyway.

its good to hear lennons not scared to get a wee bit of advice from an older manager. hopefully the team can build on this now and go on and win the spl.

i would like to know what lennon said to lafferty at the end of the game today?

Hail Hail Neil Lennon. Too easily criticised in his short time as manager. Brilliant tactics from start to finish to outdo the man with no surname.

There's only one Neil Lennon, Celtic to the Core. :shamrock:

Felt the exact same. So glad to be proved wrong. When i saw Sammy and Mulgrew were starting i was not happy at all. Thats why Lenny is manager and i am a schmuck.

Thank you for today Neil. Great start to 2011. Long may it continue!

Completely agree! Now let's keep supporting our man, even if we do slip up now and then, and remember all the compliments you're giving Neil now because managers don't just become bad over night!

Keep up this support and be faithful through and through!

Great job well done Lenny! :84:

he got it spot on with his selection for a change.maybe just saying that cos we won.thought we defended there early onslaught easily and kept it tight til half time then hit them with a 2nd half sucker.anyone think he has been getting old firm lessons from wattie.good to see him get the big game loser tag off his back.just hope our board dont read to much into this and hold back funds again
