    Solid defensively and adds the physicality we badly needed back there.

    Can definitely improve going forward though. He hasn't been bad but he's just been kind of ineffective so far. Only 2 games in but. Looks a very shrewd signing.

    Overall play was good but a couple of times he had a chance to get a ball in from wide and turned back for some reason.

    Only criticism is he turns back infield when he could cross or try beat a player. That will come

    Agree with what everyone else has said.

    In terms of the forward play I'd attribute thar to him getting used to being in a side playing dominant football. Probably needs to learn he has a lot more free reign to try stuff here.

    It'll come. He's a * unit.

    Got very excited with his performance today, showed the full deck of attributes you’d be looking for.

    Also appears to be a huge character which is always a good thing. Has appeared to slot in to the squad with ease.

    The one thing I notice about him is he is in absolute top physical shape. My man’s shredded. Strong as an ox with a monster engine to boot.

    I think it’s the first thing you notice about him he looks solid and then has some engine to go with it. I think for us to move to the next level we need more players like that, I am hoping Iwata will be one of them and notably the South Korean players who have been linked seem in that mould too.

    Some really great attributes mentioned here. Ticks most boxes, still learning the new inverted role. Will be a fixture for years, could have offered more going forward yesterday but that will come. We may just have found a proper replacement for that big daft Sweed.

    Don't know if anyone has noticed, but his movement off the ball is really good as well. Saw him a few times cutting inside for the inverted roll, then bursting between players on the outside to look for a pass, take defenders with him which in essence opens up space for the wingers to drive in. Looks like we've got ourseves a great wee player on our hands, pleasantly surprised with him.

    This is a very exciting one. Great first couple of games. You know he’s been good when the Zombies are trying to convince themselves hes * after 2 games and I doubt any would’ve seen him Sat. He was easily the best full back out the 4 in the derby too.
