Alistair Johnston

He was like that for Montreal, and does a lot of press for Canada too. Fairly certain he completed his full 4 year undergraduate degree as well- he’s definitely someone who has a good head on his shoulders. Most of us think he’ll eventually go into coaching or become an executive once he hangs them up. There’s a legitimate argument to make him Canada’s captain once Atiba retires, despite some of the bigger names on our team.

Can kinda tell he'll get better and better every week..

Was it him that backheeled it to McGregor late on in the box that McGregor put over?

 

You can tell he's still getting used to the system, but that's another solid performance from him.

Once he's fully up to speed, he's definitely getting a couple of goals this season too.

What I really like about him is that he’s bulky too, he doesn’t get shrugged off the ball easily, I think one of the commentators was saying how he played ice hockey (well he is Canadian so obviously) but you can tell he is used to those shoulder type tackles

Still a long way to go until he's a proper cog in this well-oiled Celtic machine, but that will come with more game time. Exciting prospect.
