I've no doubt part of the draw with Valle was his versatility. His performances for Barca at RB in pre-season won't have been lost on Rodgers.

Anyway, we'll see come 3pm tomorrow. I won't be angry if Ralston starts, just keen to see Valle.

 

I'd play Hatate there. Played there before and was outstanding.

Would also allow us to play, Mcgregor, Bernardo and Engels as a 3

 

From memory, he's played there twice. Once he was good/very attacking, the second time he was a complete liability.

We actually have 2 RB's. Crazy as it is I'd go for playing a RB at RB, if either are fit. If both are I'd still choose one of them.

International break has obviously been tough on a few people.

 

I get resting him but as pish as they've been this season, Hearts always raise their game against us, so I'd like us to put as strong a team as possible.

He can get the weekend off against Falkirk, I'd be playing all our new signings against them.

 

Falkirk have been on a very good vein of form, I wouldn't want to put out an experimental team against them. Too much at stake now to take chances, out aim is the Treble.

 

Played there twice, scored twice at home and was outstanding v St Johnstone.

Second game was away to Hibs, he got an assist and we won 4 - 0 in what was probably one of our most dominant performances under Ange so struggling to see how anything from that game would have him be a liability but maybe you remember differently

You are right tho, the International break was tough on some people, it was tough on AJ who's picked up a bit of a knock and shouldn't be risked with so many big games coming up and it was particularly tough on Ralston, who showed once again what a * liability he is

 

Must be mixing him up with someone else who got played out of position. Still wouldn't be moving him into different positions given he's struggled for consistency this season and last.

Pretty sure Johnston will play today. If not it would definitely be Ralston for me.

 

Very poor passing today, particularly in the final third..

 

You can tell he wasn't 100% today, in hindsight I'd have started Ralston and fully rested him.

 

Aye he did my * in today. Thought he was poor

 

Not his best day, but never hid and kept going.

 

I thought he was playing very well up until about 60 mins then got sloppy.

 

Was poor today.. allowed tho as he's very solid 90% of the time.

 

Wasn't great at all. But of a liability at times and it could have cost us. Talk of a new contract very premature for me. Needs to show something positive in Europe first before that's even looked at.

 

That'll be Peter slashing the wages on that new contract.

A rare off day

 

Carrying a wee injury only arrived back in. The country late Wednesday he gets a pass today.

Ralston could have started

 

He's been excellent this season tbf, bar Saturday..

Not sure why Ralston didn't start tho due to his injury and travel on International duty.

 

Aye didn't look 100% to me. He wasn't the only one off the boil on Saturday so won't give him a hard time
