He scored 4 in 2 in Dutch Cup and scored a double in Heerenven's win over AZ Alkmaar in Dutch League first game of this season. So 6 goals in 3 games. No wonder Heerenven want to keep him.

 

Just bid the £5m Celtic and relinquish the 'tight *' reputation for one transfer.

If celtic miss out on this gem of a striker for the sake of 1 mill or 1.5 mill i will be very * off we have made enough money on our top players and CL revenue to go out and spend 5 mill on someone who guarentees us goals also if we can get the right men in whos to say we cant get another lucrative CL purse this year ?? but we wont get anywere fast by penny pinching .

We have under ten hours left to miraculously have someone complete a medical and sign the papers.

Very much doubt something will happen now.

I don't think we need to sign anyone before the deadline. There are no guarantees they will make an impact on the play offs. If we are being honest we should be getting through with the team we have atm. Hopefully we can get Van Dijk and Boerrigter fit for the tie

 

I don't think people want to sign him in time for the play off round. You're right when you say we can get through that with the squad we have.

We want to sign him before another * club comes in and nicks him from us, as has happened before.

It would be absolutely idiotic to not sign anyone before the qualifier.

We never looked like scoring against Elfsborg, with the only goal coming from a fairly lucky Commons header.

If that chance hadn't have fallen to him we might have been facing the possibility of no European football.

We really need a striker in.

 

Are we actually after this guy ? Is there any reliable sources apart from Twitter ? There hasn't been a mention of this on any reliable outlets ?

It's in a lot of the papers today and SSN are running it on their website.

 

There are next to no reliable outlets. Maybe SkySports and the BBC and they only bother reporting on things when they're a done deal. The papers and the vast majority of Twitter users post complete *.

 

How about every single paper talking about it?

Question for you; have you ever been positive about anything Celtic related, ever?

 

In all honesty it's a bit pathetic we still haven't signed Hooper's replacement when we pretty much knew since January he was going to leave.

 

SSN say we are 'weighing up a move', but there may have been developments since they last updated their website and they're just waiting on confirmation before reporting it.

 

I really really hope we sign him, please may there be good news soon
